Chapter 93: Rejoice

Chu Huaiyu put his hands on his hips, and his smug tone showed his love for racing.

"We also have some experience projects here. Do you want to try them?" Chu Huaiyu asked.

Chu Zhaozhao was excited and nodded quickly. Chu Huaiyu took Chu Zhaozhao to change equipment.

"Let me introduce you, this is my sister, Chu Zhaozhao."

There were many people gathered in the equipment changing room. They were all chatting and drinking water. Chu Zhaozhao suddenly became restrained.

The people in the room greeted Chu Zhaozhao warmly, but did not ask too many questions about Chu Zhaozhao, and they knew the limits very well.

"Please wear all of these. This experience device won't be very fast, but you still need to pay attention to safety."

Chu Huaiyu took out a set of equipment and gave it to Chu Zhaozhao, and kept talking about how to wear each thing.

After changing, Chu Zhaozhao looked at Chu Huaiyu eagerly. He changed into his racing suit and then led Chu Zhaozhao to the track.

"Hold on tight!"

After Chu Huaiyu shouted this, he increased his speed to the maximum and galloped out. Before Chu Zhaozhao could react, he was already flying out.

"How does it feel?" Chu Huaiyu asked in the loudest voice.

Chu Zhaozhao recovered and the smile on her face gradually brightened.

Chu Huaiyu drove Chu Zhaozhao around the track for several laps in his racing car before parking the car. Many people who knew Chu Huaiyu stood up and spoke well of him.

"Zhao Zhao, this is the owner of the racetrack. We all call him Brother Ma." Chu Huaiyu introduced him to Chu Zhaozhao.

Chu Zhaozhao shook hands with Ma Ge. Ma Ge seemed serious and didn't say much. He just called Chu Huaiyu aside, said a few words and left.

"Second brother, what did he say to you?" Chu Zhaozhao asked.

Chu Zhaozhao wondered in her heart whether Brother Ma was saying too much bad things about her or because of her, Chu Huaiyu, she broke the rules here. In short, she felt that Brother Ma didn't like her very much.

"Brother Ma told me that I can participate in the competition next month. What's wrong?" Chu Huaiyu asked with a raised eyebrow.

Chu Zhaozhao realized that she was overthinking, shook her head and didn't respond. Chu Huaiyu took the helmet from Chu Zhaozhao and took everything back to the equipment room.

"I didn't expect you to be able to handle it. Most people would scream in fear at this speed, but you seem to be enjoying it."

Chu Huaiyu brought over two glasses of lemon juice and handed the one with honey to Chu Zhaozhao.

"I was really scared at the beginning. I thought it would start slowly and then gradually speed up. But it's okay. I really like this feeling." Chu Zhaozhao said with a smile.

Chu Huaiyu nodded, and after taking a sip of lemon juice, the sourness made his expression distorted.

"Is it true? Is it that sour?" Chu Zhaozhao's tone was full of obvious doubt.

Chu Zhaozhao took a sip and thought it was okay. Chu Huaiyu just smiled and didn't tell Chu Zhaozhao that she had added honey to her cup.

"You have to come and watch the next competition. The speed there can't be compared to the speed here."

Chu Huaiyu relaxed completely and leaned back on the sofa, while Chu Zhaozhao nodded seriously.

"Have Chu Rong and Cheng Feifei come to watch your game?"

When Chu Huaiyu heard Chu Zhaozhao mention the names Chu Rong and Cheng Feifei, he was stunned for a moment, and then laughed out loud after realizing who Chu Zhaozhao was talking about.

"Of course. I've gotten braver after asking my parents for permission. Now I even call them by their names."

Chu Huaiyu had no intention of blaming Chu Zhaozhao; instead, he admired her more.

Chu Zhaozhao shrugged, indicating she didn't care. "Anyway, I've already talked to them to that point. It's pointless for everyone to act dumb any longer. It's fine for me to just call them by their names now. What if one day they publish a news report saying they've severed ties with me?"

"It's true, Chu Tianyi's articulation is definitely not half as good as yours." Chu Huaiyu said affirmatively.

Chu Zhaozhao didn't know whether Chu Huaiyu was praising her or insulting her.

"You compare me to Chu Tianyi, which means you look down on me. After all, she only knows how to complain and cry. I am different from her."

Chu Zhaozhao gave Chu Huaiyu a meaningful look, and Chu Huaiyu nodded.

"Chu Tianyi really only knows how to cry, but she has probably also learned to go crazy recently, just to attract everyone's attention." Chu Huaiyu said with a sigh.

"Let me take you home. I have to go home for dinner later. If I'm late, I'll get scolded again. The atmosphere at home has been tense lately, and my eldest brother is on edge."

Chu Huaiyu looked at the time and felt that it would be too late if he didn't leave now.

Chu Zhaozhao gloated, "Fortunately, I don't have to bear the responsibility anymore, otherwise I would be annoyed to death. But it seems that a lot of things have happened at home recently to get our unruly second brother to come home obediently."

"You don't understand, but it actually has nothing to do with you. It's just that Mom and Dad have a disagreement over something, and they're secretly competing with each other."

Chu Zhaozhao just nodded after hearing this. It had nothing to do with her anyway. The main point was to join in when there was excitement, and stay out of it when there was no excitement.

Chu Huaiyu drove very fast. After dropping Chu Zhaozhao off at the downstairs of the apartment building, he drove away without stopping, as if the god of death was chasing him.

As Chu Zhaozhao got out of the elevator and was about to open the door, she saw Xu Yu standing at her door again.

"Xu Yu?"

Chu Zhaozhao once suspected that she had seen the wrong person, and rubbed her eyes repeatedly before asking.

"Are you surprised to see me? It seems that I, the movie star, still hold a great importance in your heart." Xu Yu asked jokingly.

"You're an award-winning actor. If you were photographed squatting outside my house, wouldn't that be a bad influence? I wonder how you'd explain it to your agent and the media."

Chu Zhaozhao opened the door and invited Xu Yu in to sit down.

"Drink some water. There's nothing else to drink at home."

Chu Zhaozhao poured a glass of water for Xu Yu and looked at him, expecting him to tell her the purpose of his visit today.

"I might have to go out of town for a week, so I wanted to ask you if you could help me check on my dad if anything happened. I've already found some medical staff, but I'm worried about him myself."

Xu Yu's conflicted expression seemed to indicate that he was not lying, so Chu Zhaozhao readily agreed.

"Actually, you could just send me a message for such a small matter. You came all the way here, and I'm not home, and you're still waiting at the door. Why bother?"

"It's not a complete loss. At least I know your neighbors are Zheng Yuanjie and his wife."

Chu Zhaozhao sighed, "This world is really small. Director Zheng and I are neighbors, and you even ran into him when you came to see me. Why don't you ask Director Zheng to arrange a role for you as well?"

"Director Zheng arranged for me to play the male lead role half a year ago. Do you think I still need to be arranged?" Xu Yu asked word by word.

Chu Zhaozhao frowned, his brain thinking rapidly.

"So, I have to be in the same crew with you when I film "Love Letters", and I also have to be in the same crew with you when I film "Tears of Light"? " Chu Zhaozhao asked subconsciously.
