They ate grapes as they arrived at the door of Xu's house. They all put away their relaxed expressions and replaced them with heavy and serious ones.
Zhao Youping wiped his hands and came down carrying Zhao Letong. Fang Xinyue followed, holding the little fox. She just came to watch the fun and used the name of Zhao Letong's maid.
Fang Xinyue was quite happy to follow Zhao Letong. There were melons to eat and she wasn't bored. She would be bored studying medicine and herbs by herself and she didn't have many friends. Only Zhao Letong could play with her.
Strangely enough, Fang Xinyue didn't have much of a barrier between them when playing with Zhao Letong, and she didn't treat Letong like a child.
"Mr. Zhao, Miss Zhao, please come in."
General Xu personally led them in. If Zhao Letong couldn't cure his son, General Xu was thinking about how to make trouble for the Zhao family.
They must not have treated him seriously, General Xu couldn't help but think of conspiracy theories.
Zhao Letong also complained to Zhao Youping, "This Xu guy is definitely trying to scam me. If we can cure him, that's fine. But if we can't, we need to give you an explanation."
[This man is a general after all, so why doesn't he have even a fraction of his father's integrity? No wonder he raised such a jerk of a son? His father is no good.]
[No one in this family is a good person, and General Xu is not innocent either.]
Zhao Youping didn't know what to say, but the little fox kept nodding, agreeing with what Zhao Letong said.
When he got to the house, the Seventh Prince was still there. It was he who came up with the idea, so he naturally wanted to see the result. He also wanted to accompany Old Madam Xu and comfort her. If someone didn't know him, they would think he was the grandson of the Xu family.
When Zhao Letong's aunt and nephew came in, Zhao Youping bowed and said, "Greetings to His Highness the Seventh Prince, Madam."
"This girl of yours knows some Taoist magic? Can she cure my grandson?"
Zhao Youping said, "Old Madam, you're wrong. Nothing can be cured absolutely. My aunt only has a superficial understanding of medicine, so I can't promise that I can cure it."
"Then what are you doing here?"
Zhao Letong also had a temper. "You invited me here, and if I didn't come, General Xu would have to kneel down. How shameless! I had no choice but to come and take a look."
"Little girl, who are you talking about? You're so young and don't have good manners. No wonder your mother died young. You're unlucky."
Zhao Youping was furious. She had no manners at all. She was so shameless to curse a child at such an old age.
Zhao Letong patted his nephew and said, "Old woman, your face is blue, your eyebrows are dark, and your lips are dark red. You are about to suffer retribution, and you dare not be rude. You dote on your grandson so much, I'm afraid you will die with him."
The Xu family members' expressions changed drastically, and General Xu said sternly, "Miss Zhao, are you cursing my mother? You're so arrogant at such a young age."
"You're old, you've been eating rice for free for so many years, do you understand? She's even older, an old thief who won't die. She scolded me first, didn't you hear?
If your family has this attitude, nephew, let's go home. I won't serve you anymore."
Zhao Letong is not a punching bag. You invited him. Now he is making sarcastic remarks. He must be mentally ill.
The Seventh Prince quickly stood up and said, "Miss Zhao, don't be angry. Master and the old lady are also very anxious and angry. I apologize on their behalf.
Why don't you give me a favor and see the patient first? Saving a life is better than building a seven-story pagoda. Miss Zhao, please give me a favor."
General Xu was very pleased. The Seventh Prince was indeed capable and more considerate than his own children.
Zhao Youping had to give face to the Seventh Prince, but he was still angry in his heart. They were going too far.
Zhao Letong smiled and said, "Your Highness the Seventh Prince, he is a prince. But the Seventh Prince is so kind to the Xu family that people who don't know him would think you are a filial child of the Xu family."
The Seventh Prince's face changed. "General Xu is my master. It is my duty to share his worries. Miss Zhao, you are still a child. Don't learn to be so sarcastic and unforgiving."
Zhao Letong's eyes were gloomy. They were all great. They were bullying a child everywhere. If she was the real child, she would probably be heartbroken.
Every sentence says that no one taught her. Isn't this a mockery of her biological mother who passed away early? Some people viciously curse the child for having a bad fate, which is why she killed her mother. Don't they think about what the child did wrong?
Fang Xinyue couldn't help but ask, "General Xu, did your family invite the young lady here just to humiliate her? If so, we'll just leave. Our general will demand an explanation from you."
Zhao Youping also had a dark face, "Aunt, let's go."
Seeing that the situation had become so awkward, General Xu could only bow his head and say, "Alright, it was all my words that were too harsh. Master Zhao, I apologize to you. Saving lives is more important. I will personally come to your house with a generous gift to apologize later."
[Hmph, they're just looking for a slap in the face, nephew. Let's give them a good slap in the face so that everyone in the world knows what good things the Xu family has done.]
"Okay, since General Xu said so, I naturally have to give him face. If you have any dissatisfaction, come to me. Bullying my aunt is a bit too much."
The old lady snorted coldly, but didn't say anything.
Zhao Letong went to Young Master Xu's yard. He was still shivering all over. Zhao Letong took out a few Yin-dispelling talismans and said, "Stick them around the house. The Yin energy is too strong."
"OK."
It's strange to say, but after the Quyin talisman was applied, Young Master Xu looked better and he no longer shivered from the cold.
As soon as Zhao Letong and the others entered the room, Young Master Xu looked at them with a dull look in his eyes and said nothing.
"Kid, what's wrong with you?"
General Xu felt sorry for his son and waved his hand in front of him. Young Master Xu did not respond, so he had no choice but to ask Zhao Letong, "What happened to my son?"
