Chapter 17 Zhao Youxi's Luck Was Stolen

The academy that Zhao Youxi studied at was called Bailu Academy, one of the top ten academies in the capital. The president had been a teacher of a prince, and he was highly respected and a true great scholar.

The reason why Zhao Youxi was able to enter the academy was entirely because the dean wanted a gentleman to develop the six arts in an all-round way. Military generals should read more. Riding, archery and combat are also important courses in the academy, and military subjects are also taken very seriously.

The academy is now divided into civil and military departments, and is also a good seedling for future military generals of the court. The emperor also supports it.

This is because most of the students in the military department are unruly and come from wealthy families, making them difficult to discipline. Many teachers have become sick because of the students in the military department.

Among these troublemakers is the second son of the Zhao family, who is also an outstanding person in various fields. The teacher really can't stand it anymore and asks the parents to come.

No matter what era, asking parents to come is the thing that students fear the most. Zhao Youxi's clever mind turned and he thought of his lovely little aunt. Didn't he bring Zhao Letong here?

The person in charge of the martial arts and cultural courses is Mr. Qian, a prim old man in his fifties with a white beard, thin cheeks, small eyes that are very focused, and a sharp look in his eyes. Even though he is a teacher, these students who can kill a cow with one punch dare not act presumptuously in front of him.

Mr. Qian was frowning as he looked at a pile of ridiculous homework and couldn't help scratching his head. The culture of students at the Military Academy was really difficult to deal with.

We don't expect them to be able to write eight-legged essays. If they pass the imperial examination, they should at least be proficient in the Four Books and Five Classics, right?

Even so, I can't even recognize all the characters, let alone the calligraphy that is so disgusting.

"Sir, student Zhao Youxi wants to see you."

"Enter."

Putting down the homework, Master Qian was filled with anger and wanted to ask the Zhao family's parents, "This child is so naughty and hopeless, do you still want to continue studying?"

"Where are your parents?"

Zhao Youxi smiled and pushed Zhao Letong out. "This is me. This is my aunt. She's very smart. Sir, please tell my aunt if you have anything to say."

Master Qian looked at the two of them quietly with his sharp eyes. Zhao Youxi's legs were shaking. "Why did you say something?"

It's even more embarrassing to keep silent. Even if you're sentencing someone to death, you have to give a definite answer, right?

Zhao Letong was not afraid. He sat cross-legged on the desk and greeted the teacher seriously like a little adult: "Hello, Master."

Master Qian sighed and said, "Hello."

"My second nephew is wrong. Thank you for your guidance, Master."

She spoke in a very serious manner, like an elder, but of course, we have to ignore her age.

Zhao Youxi smiled and said, "Master, please calm down. I promise I won't do it again. I swear by my aunt that if I do it again, she will have no milk to drink."

Zhao Letong, [You unlucky nephew, why don't you swear on yourself? Oh, naughty kids are so hard to discipline.]

Master Qian's beard trembled with anger, "Get out."

He didn't dare to ask his parents, did he think that was the end of it?

Master Qian can go to your home for a visit, but he still can't control this troublemaker like you?

Zhao Youxi didn't know that a disaster was about to happen. He went out happily and forgot to take his sister-in-law away.

Zhao Letong and Master Qian stared at each other. Master Qian could no longer bear it and had to hug her himself. He had to teach this unreliable disciple a lesson this time.

"Master, your daughter is lost, and your wife died early. It's not a good life."

Master Qian's eyes widened, "You, how do you know? This Zhao Youxi dares to tell anyone anything.

If I don’t beat the shit out of him today, I’ll just say he’s done it cleanly.”

Master Qian took out the ruler and now he had to teach this bastard a lesson.

"I can help you find your daughter."

Zhao Letong's words froze the Master in his tracks. "Are you serious?"

"If we find the Master's daughter, my nephew's mistakes will be wiped out. I will punish him and he won't dare to make mistakes again."

Master Qian's lips trembled, and he finally said, "Okay, I'll trust you this time, but if you can't find me, the academy will never accept you, the descendants of the Zhao family."

Zhao Letong nodded. "Birthdate, previously used items, clothes, jewelry are all fine."

Master Qian wrote down his daughter's birth date and brought her pearl flowers with him as a gift. In his heart, he didn't believe that she was just a little kid, but he thought it would be a last resort and it didn't make any difference.

What if it works?

When people are in despair, they will grab the last straw no matter how unreliable it is.

He personally sent Zhao Letong out and lovingly handed her to Zhao Youxi: "Take good care of your aunt. I'll give you three days off. You only have three days."

"What?"

Zhao Youxi was confused. Why was he given another vacation?

Zhao Letong patted her foolish nephew's head. "I promised to help the Master find his daughter. For you, I'm willing to risk everything. If you dare make a mistake again, I'll throw you into a mass grave and let you play with ghosts all night."

Zhao Youxi's face turned pale. "Aunt, this can't be that serious, right?"

Zhao Letong nodded, "My punishment will be something you will never forget."

"Goodbye, Master."

After waving goodbye to Master Qian, Zhao Youxi carried him away.

It was just the time for classes to end, and the quiet academy suddenly became lively. Young talents with tall figures and wearing green robes walked out of the classroom in twos and threes, and the academy was suddenly filled with youthful vigor.

"Zhao Youxi, are you okay? Did the teacher punish you?"

A few young people who looked sloppy and unstructured surrounded Zhao Youxi, and seemed to be very concerned about him.

She was also very curious about Zhao Letong: "Who is this? Why are you here with a child? Didn't the teacher beat you to death?"

"This is my aunt, don't make trouble. The teacher asked me to invite the parents. Didn't I sneak my aunt out? What else can I do?"
