Chapter 213 Concubine Xian's Old Love

A severed hand fell directly to the ground, and blood sprayed all over Concubine Xian's face.

Her eyes widened in horror, her pupils trembling.

The kidnappers were not in a much better situation. They were excited, but they didn't expect someone to interrupt them and hurt their accomplices. Their faces changed drastically, their eyes became fierce, and they pulled out their weapons to fight the newcomers.

One of the daggers was kicked away before it could be pulled out.

The others looked at the newcomer, their pupils shrinking slightly, their expressions terrified: "King...Worthy King..."

"You can still recognize me. It seems you are not blind." The cold and ruthless man in black raised his hand and pressed his long sword against the heart of the kidnapper. The blood-stained sword shone with a cold light. "Tell me, where is the eleventh prince?"

"I...I don't know. I clearly locked her up here, but she suddenly disappeared. It must be her. This Concubine Dajin must have rescued her."

The wise king followed the kidnapper's gaze and saw a disheveled woman huddled in the corner. Her eyes were wide open in fear, and her face was stained with blood, giving her a kind of broken and tragic beauty.

The virtuous prince narrowed his eyes and pointed his sword at the virtuous concubine: "Did you rescue the eleventh prince?"

The virtuous concubine trembled with fear, not daring to breathe: "I...I don't know. I woke up here. Who knows what your men did? Where did you hide my son?"

"Are you the virtuous concubine?" The virtuous prince stared at the virtuous concubine whose face was half red and swollen. For some reason, he felt a little familiar.

The virtuous concubine nodded, thinking they were in the same group. She knew that if she continued to stay here, she would die.

Realizing this, when Concubine Xian saw Prince Xian approaching, she immediately pulled out her hairpin and tried to hold Prince Xian hostage.

However, she didn't expect that her intention had already been seen through. As soon as she got the hairpin, the wise king cut off her arms, grabbed her neck and lifted her up.

The fear of death made Concubine Xian struggle desperately. In a panic, the arm that was not removed grabbed the neck of King Xian and hooked out the thing he was wearing around his neck, which made King Xian unhappy.

The thing around his neck is very important to him.

No one can touch it.

This damn Concubine Dajin.

Just as the virtuous prince was about to teach the virtuous concubine a lesson, she heard the virtuous concubine's surprised, disbelieving, and tentative voice: "Chuyi?"

The angry King paused, a little bit unable to believe that this name came out of her mouth. Only a few people knew the name Chuyi, and basically they were all gone.

When the wise king heard someone call him Chuyi again, he was in a trance for a moment.

Seeing his reaction, Concubine Xian was overjoyed: "Is it really you?"

The virtuous prince frowned, released the suffocating virtuous concubine, and cautiously took a step back, looking at the utterly disheveled virtuous concubine leaning against the wall of the secret passage. "Who are you, and why do you know this name?"

The virtuous concubine was in a complicated mood and smiled a smile that was uglier than crying: "I'm fifteen!"

The virtuous concubine never expected that she would meet her childhood sweetheart under such circumstances. He had grown into a person she didn't recognize and almost killed her.

The virtuous concubine was shocked and frightened, and only fainted after she was sure that the person in front of her would not hurt her.

As she fell, she quickly fell into a broad embrace, and he had a bloody smell on him.

The wise king carefully protected the person in his arms, brushed away the messy hair on her face, looked at her face which was splattered with many drops of blood, and apart from the red and swollen half of her face, looked at the face that had never been injured, vaguely meeting the smiling girl in his memory.

fifteen?

Aren’t you dead? How come you became the virtuous concubine of Dajin?

The kidnappers had no idea that the virtuous prince knew the Concubine Dajin. They realized they had made a big mistake and knelt on the ground one by one, not daring to say a word.

The virtuous prince carefully picked up the virtuous concubine and said in a cold tone, "Who hit her?"

The kidnapper who slapped Concubine Xian in the face did not dare to hide it and kowtowed and begged for mercy: "I deserve to die. I will never dare to do it again."

"There won't be a next time." With just a look from the wise king, his trusted guards knew what to do.

The kidnapper who hit the man in the face had his hand chopped off and his neck was slit.

As for the others, they were all killed because they could not find the whereabouts of the eleventh prince.

The unconscious Concubine Xian was carried out by the King Xian from a secret underground passage.

Her arm had been removed and needed to be reattached.

The virtuous prince didn't care about anything else. With a snap, the virtuous concubine woke up in pain and bit the virtuous prince's arm: "Don't be afraid, it's me!"

The virtuous concubine thought she had met a bad guy and relaxed her teeth. She looked at the man in front of her with a slightly frowned face. Her peripheral vision fell on the room and she found a tent. "Where is this?"

"Damon Camp." The wise king comforted, "Don't worry, with me here, no one can hurt you."

Xian Fei breathed a sigh of relief: "Where is the Eleventh Prince?"

The wise king glanced at her. She seemed to be concerned about her son. "I've sent people to investigate. If I get any news, I'll tell you immediately. You weren't kidnapped by them. Do you know who sent you to Damon?"

The virtuous concubine shook her head: "It's strange, I was originally in the other palace, and suddenly my eyes went black, and I knew nothing. I woke up in that secret passage. If it weren't for you, I'm afraid I would be..."

"Chuyi, they call you the virtuous king. How can you be the virtuous king? Weren't you killed by bandits? How are you still alive?" They met and fell in love when they were young. Their mothers were good sisters. One of them was abandoned by her man and returned to her parents' home with her son.

A peasant girl who was despised by the scholar, married the daughter of a high-ranking official after passing the imperial examination, abandoned his wife and daughter, and rose to prominence in the capital. He was the father of the virtuous concubine.

They grew up together and later fell in love. They were originally going to get married after she came of age, but when she was thirteen, something unexpected happened in the girl's family and the man who had abandoned her and her son came to find them, saying that he wanted to take them back to his hometown to live.
