Chapter 47 Does Mother Want Me to Pay with My Life?

Lin was furious, feeling that Lin Qingwan truly harbored ambitions to compete with Yan Wan. "What did you say?"

Lin Qingwan said, word by word, "I said, Jiang Yanwan herself has no ability to get Prince Jing to treat her well, but she has the ability to blame others."

Lin clenched her fists, her eyes blazing with anger, but she suppressed it after a moment of silence. "Prince Jing is not what you see on the surface. Don't think that just because he protected you twice, something will happen."

"You're only after this superficial benefit; you won't even know how you died."

Lin Qingwan laughed in anger. Her mother came from a prestigious family and had been loved by her husband for many years after marriage. She must have never experienced being neglected or abandoned, so it was easy for her to talk when she was not in her shoes.

Madam Lin frowned. "You are not even a tenth as good as Yan Wan. She is not like you."

Mr. Lin was impatient. “Their upbringing, ideas, choices, and logic in doing things are all completely different.”

Lin Qingwan's eyes were cold. The fire in her chest was burning and then frozen by ice water. The alternation of heat and cold was torturing her to death. "But none of this was my choice."

"It's not that I want to live outside for fifteen years."

It's not that I wanted to be abused by the Cheng family for fifteen years!

Lin's voice suddenly rose, "If it weren't for Cheng and Yan Wan, you wouldn't be alive today!"

"Is this your way of expressing gratitude?"

"Qingwan, you have disappointed me greatly."

Lin Qingwan was exhausted, but she didn't understand why she still felt heartache and pain.

She forced a bitter smile. "Then how does Mother want me to repay her? With my life?"

Lin's heart tightened. "Are you threatening me?"

"I'm doing this for your own good! You know nothing, you understand nothing, and you never reflect on your own actions when anything happens; you only blame others!"
