The child's flute flew straight towards the flowerbed.

The king's boots stomped on the bloody gash on her forearm again and again, each time squeezing out another spurt of blood.

The blood was black.

A large patch of bright red hibiscus around King Jing was strangely decaying; its roots were turning black, its petals were withering and falling, and a nauseating stench filled the air.

It's like a terrifying purgatory.

"Why did this happen! Why did your blood kill them!"

Zhao Yan questioned Lin Qingwan like a madwoman, the light in her pupils beginning to dim, a hint of mockery in her eyes, "Didn't I say we'd all perish together?"
