She had just returned from Wolf Cloud's place.
"You wolf cloud, you actually lied to me that there was no prey, but these two females clearly brought back so much prey!"
Wolfman couldn't help but curse, his eyes fixed on the rabbit in Su Tang's hand.
That rabbit is so fat, it could feed us for two meals!
"You shameless hussy, you actually lied to me!"
Wolfman grew angrier the more he thought about it, so he went back to confront Wolf Cloud.
Upon arriving outside Wolf Cloud's cave, he began to curse loudly.
"Wolf Cloud, get out here right now!"
As soon as Lang Yun came out, she saw Lang Man's face full of anger. She was a little confused. "Mother, what's wrong? Why are you back again?"
Because of her false information, Lang Kui and I went to the back mountain and went hungry for several days. I didn't blame her, so why did she get angry with me?
As soon as Langman saw Langyun, he angrily stepped forward to question him.
"Tell me, did you hide all the prey you caught from the back mountain?! Where did you hide it? Show it to me!"
"I sent you to the back mountain, and you dare to keep the prey you caught!"
Wolf Cloud's arm was pinched painfully.
Shaking off Lang Man's hand, she said angrily, "What prey? I already said there's no prey at all in the back mountain. Lang Kui and I went to the back mountain and found nothing. I haven't even blamed you yet, and you're accusing me of lying to you!"
"If you don't believe me, go look for it in the cave yourself. If you can find prey, you'll be amazing."
Wolf Cloud was also furious.
She had never seen such an unreasonable female.
Wolfman was pushed and staggered two steps.
She paused for a moment, then realized what she meant and snorted coldly.
"Fine, so you're still trying to fool me. I know now. You were so sure I wouldn't find it, but you've already secretly eaten the prey, haven't you?"
Wolfman was convinced that Wolf Cloud had prey.
No matter what she says, she won't believe it; she only believes what she sees.
"You crazy woman, I already said there's no prey left. If you don't believe me, fine, but don't throw a tantrum here. Don't think I'm afraid of you just because you're Lang Kui's mother." Lang Yun was furious; she couldn't reason with this crazy woman.
He picked up a stick to drive the wolfman away.
Wolfman was furious. She must have been blind to have chosen such a vicious female for her cubs!
"I'll beat you up, you wicked female, for stealing my prey! Spit it out, spit it out!!"
He rushed up and, taking advantage of Lang Yun's inattention, grabbed her hair.
The two instantly started fighting, falling to the ground and rolling around.
It's quite a sight.
"Wolfman and Wolf Cloud are fighting!"
"Oh! Oh! There are females fighting..."
The passing cubs watched the spectacle, jumping and shouting, and soon the news spread throughout the entire tribe.
It even alarmed the chief.
When the gray wolf orc pulled the two apart, several clumps of Wolf Cloud's hair were ripped out, Wolf Man's face was scratched with several bloody marks, and his animal skin clothes were torn to shreds.
Wolf Cloud's face and chest were covered in blood from his nose, making him look extremely disheveled.
Wolfman was getting old, and after taking a few blows to his leg, he started to walk with a limp.
The leader was exasperated by their appearance and asked with a dark face:
Why are you two fighting?
If males fight, just beat them up and punish them severely.
But females are so fragile; a single punishment can kill them, and they'll be unable to reproduce in the future.
The leader's biggest annoyance is dealing with conflicts between the females.
Wolfman: "She stole my prey!"
Wolf Cloud: "You're lying! You were the one who lied to me first!"
The two were about to start arguing again.
Gray Wolf Leader: "..." Never argue with a female in this lifetime.
"You two should talk this out. If you keep arguing, believe me, I'll take you both and trade you with other tribes!"
The gray wolf leader roared, and the two fell silent instantly.
Wolf Cloud didn’t want to be transferred to another tribe to suffer, while Wolf Man was secretly delighted. She hadn’t expected to still be of value at her age.
The gray wolf leader was just trying to scare them.
Seeing that the two had calmed down, he asked them to recount what had happened one by one.
The two versions were naturally different, and after comparing them, the leader of the gray wolves finally understood what was going on.
"Wolfman, are you saying that Wolf Nini and A Tang went hunting in the back mountains and caught a lot of prey?" the gray wolf leader asked Wolfman.
Wolfman nodded repeatedly, "Yes! Wolf Nini led outsiders to hunt our tribe's prey. I saw it with my own eyes. Every time, her animal skin bag was full!"
She smelled blood; it must be her prey.
None of the beasts believed Wolfman's words.
If there are plenty of prey in the back mountains, would the males still need to hunt in the forest?
This old woman must be obsessed with her prey!
"Wolf Cloud, you said you and Wolf Kui went to the back mountain but found nothing?" The gray wolf leader looked at Wolf Cloud again.
Wolf Cloud, sporting panda eyes, nodded. "Yeah, there's nothing there."
They've practically searched the entire back hill.
"You're talking nonsense! You just ate it secretly!" Upon hearing this, Langman snorted and glared, about to start cursing again.
"Enough!" The gray wolf leader, exasperated, stopped the two. "Whether it's true or not, we'll find out by calling Wolf Nini over and asking her."
He ordered the orcs to summon the wolf Nini.
Wolf Nini was brought over, unaware of what had happened.
The gray wolf leader asked her with a serious expression, "Wolf Nini, did you and A-Tang go hunting in the back mountains?"
"I didn't go hunting, I went to find fruit. I don't have a mate right now, so I can only go to the back mountain to pick fruit to fill my stomach," Wolf Nini answered truthfully, without any stage fright.
In the past, she would have been scared to see so many people.
Because she was afraid of being watched by many orcs since she was a child.
