Cat Nine also noticed Su Tang's gaze and felt a little embarrassed. He quickly made a gesture of catching an insect in the air and grabbed a handful of air.
He said to himself:
"So many bugs, they were just sucking my blood... What a coincidence, Tang, you're here too, haha..."
Su Tang looked at her suspiciously, "This is my home, of course I'm here."
The apple orchard isn't far from the wooden house.
When the kitten saw its mother arrive, it seemed to have found a protector. It immediately dropped its fierce demeanor and scurried behind Su Tang to hide.
He looked like he had been bullied and was scared.
Cat Nine: "..." She didn't even touch their fur!
The white ball of fur beside Cat Nine's feet also popped out with a "biu" sound, revealing four paws, a tail, and then a round head.
The cat's fur was slightly messy, and it didn't even bother to shake it. It swayed and walked lazily and unhurriedly behind Su Tang.
"What are you doing here instead of at the Gray Wolf Tribe?"
Su Tang looked at the baby and, seeing that he wasn't injured, turned to ask.
Although Mao Jiu is a member of A Tang's clan, he doesn't want to have too much contact with her.
What does it have to do with Su Tang if A Tang's people are her people?
"I...I came to find you, A-Tang," Mao Jiu lied, forcing herself to stay calm.
Su Tang had a look on her face that said, "Do you think I'm stupid?"
"They came from the Gray Wolf tribe, but they don't seem to have come this way, do they?"
She looked towards the woods; behind them were mountains.
After racking his brains, Mao Jiu finally came up with a reason: "I'm not very familiar with the area around the tribe, and I got lost while walking around. Luckily, I met you here, hehe..."
Su Tang just stared at her expressionlessly.
You'll see if I believe you or not, and that's it.
Cat Nine was a little embarrassed and quickly changed the subject, "A-Tang, are these your kittens? They're so strong. I've never seen such strong kittens in the tribe. They must have taken after their father!"
The kitten that was called out silently bared its teeth at Su Tang from behind.
Mao Jiu simply dropped the pretense and asked directly:
"A-Tang, I heard you've forgotten your past. Do you really remember nothing at all?"
"Yes, I've forgotten everything from before," Su Tang nodded, her face full of honesty.
She had no idea what had happened before.
Mao Jiu stared at her face, unable to detect anything unusual.
The way A-Tang looked at her was as if she were looking at a strange beastman.
She wondered to herself, could it really be true?
"Do you remember the orc we met at the foot of the mountain?" Cat Nine cautiously probed.
"I don't remember." Su Tang shook her head again.
Cat Nine was dumbfounded. Had A-Tang really forgotten?
She doesn't even remember that incident.
"If there's nothing else, go back. Don't go this way next time." Su Tang said before taking the cub back.
Mao Jiu stared blankly at Su Tang's retreating figure.
She was exactly the same as I remembered, and her voice was the same too, but her demeanor and every gesture were completely different from Atang's.
Looking into her eyes, I even felt afraid.
A thought suddenly arose in Mao Jiu's mind.
Is she really Ah Tang?
If an orc forgets his past, will he go from being a carnivorous orc to eating grass?
Wu Bao, walking at the very back, suddenly turned around, revealing his sharp fangs to Mao Jiu. His adorable face actually exuded a hint of domineering aura.
Cat Nine staggered and leaned against the tree trunk. Looking over again, the kitten had already disappeared with Su Tang.
wrong!
Something's definitely wrong!
Cat Nine, as if possessed, stumbled and ran back to the tribe.
The cat-like orcs were outside the cave, making smoked meat using the method taught to them by the gray wolf chieftain.
Recently, there has been an increase in prey in the forest. They hunted alongside the gray wolf orcs and caught quite a few prey.
Because they had fruit, they planned to store some of the meat.
The rainy season is still a while away, and with the supplies they've earned from weaving, they can get through it safely.
Upon arriving at the Gray Wolf tribe, they were surprised to find that none of the orcs among them had died.
They felt this place was their blessed land.
Upon returning, Cat Nine immediately sought out his closest clansman and whispered:
“I think Atang is not normal. She is completely different from before. She must be hiding something.”
The male cat frowned, looking at him like he was a madman.
He pulled Mao Jiu's hand away.
"I think you're the one who's acting strange! Ah Jiu, we're working right now. If you're not going to help, go rest over there and don't bother us."
He's starting to look down on Ajiu.
It's not that I think she's not pretty, or that I think she's bossy.
Instead, all the other females knew that these were difficult times and were helping out, but she was lazy every day and complained that what they were doing was useless, and often bothered them.
The other orcs had stockpiled more food than the cats.
Back in the tribe, everyone did it this way, and they didn't think there was anything wrong with it.
Now, compared to other females, they realize how important it is for a male to have a good female behind him.
If they weren't from the same clan, he really would have abandoned Ajiu.
"I'm telling the truth. If you don't believe me, go and see for yourselves. I don't think she looks like Atang at all; she looks like a strange beastman wearing Atang's skin..."
Cat Nine still gripped the male's arm, her expression anxious.
The male cats could no longer tolerate it.
He shoved Mao Jiu aside and said coldly:
"Cat Nine, that's enough."
"Stop messing around, okay? Listen to what you're saying. What kind of nonsense is this?"
He thought Mao Jiu had gone mad.
