Chapter 254 Sibao Faints

In the past, if Cat Nine saw a male, she would definitely complain and pull the cubs off so she could sit on them herself.

But now, she just silently followed behind, making Su Shiwei think that there was no other female here.

Its presence is pitifully low.

This surprised Su Shiwei.

Soon, Su Tang spotted a fire and followed Su Shiwei closer, where she saw a group of orcs sitting around a fire.

Like Su Shiwei, they all looked exhausted, likely from traveling day and night without a proper rest in the forest.

"Awei, have you found a water source? We just caught a nest of rabbits around here. We can have more meat tonight."

Upon hearing Su Shiwei's footsteps, Lang Zhuang stood up, carrying the rabbit in his left hand.

To her surprise, when she turned around, she saw Su Tang following behind Su Shiwei.

"A-Tang?! You found A-Tang!"

Wolf Strong's eyes lit up with joy. As soon as he said this, the other orcs also stood up and turned to look.

How did you find Atang?

"A-Tang, Mao-Jiu, who kidnapped you?"

"Are you alright? Where are the orcs who captured you? We will never let them get away with this..."

The beastmen gathered around, their faces filled with excitement, and asked questions all at once.

Su Shiwei put down the four treasures and explained:

"I met Tangtang when I was looking for a water source. They escaped on their own."

He recounted what Su Tang had told him to the beastmen.

Upon hearing this, the beastmen were furious.

"I never expected Lionfeather to be this kind of beastman. We've been taking him in all this time, and he's already kidnapped the females and cubs!"

"They deserved to be attacked by wolves. I think it would be better if they were eaten by wolves."

"Alright, everyone sit down and let them rest." Su Shiwei's voice rang out, and the beastmen immediately quieted down.

Two orcs came out and said, "Let's go find a water source. We'll eat rabbit meat today."

The other orcs quickly took out the food they had brought and gave it to Su Tang and Mao Jiu.

Su Tang took the food and looked at Lang Zhuang with some surprise, "Isn't Nini pregnant? Why are you here too?"

Lang Zhuang explained, "Nini asked me and Awei to come find you. She was worried about you and told me to make sure we found you. Nini will be very happy to know you're alright."

"Once we get back, Nini can give birth to her baby without worry."

Upon hearing this, Su Tang felt a surge of emotion.

Aside from her family, Wolf Nini is the first person in the world who cares about her so much.

Cat Nine sat in front of the fire, looking at the group of familiar orcs in front of him, and then at the fruit and dried meat in his hand, and felt as if he had been in another world.

She actually joined up with the orcs in the tribe.

She doesn't have to die, does she?

The perilous experiences of the past few days flashed through my mind like a dream.

"Cat Nine, why aren't you eating? Hurry up and eat. You must be starving on the way. Don't worry, we're here for you."

A beastman saw Cat Nine sitting there blankly, holding food, and asked with concern.

Upon hearing the orc's voice, Mao Jiu felt a lump in his throat, and his eyes welled up with tears.

"Thank you." She lowered her head and took a big bite of the jerky, chewing it vigorously.

Having found Su Tang and Mao Jiu, the atmosphere among the beastmen became much more relaxed, and all the fatigue from the journey vanished.

They can set off for home first thing tomorrow morning.

Not long after, the two orcs who had gone out returned, bringing back several wooden buckets and a few buckets of water.

The beastmen began killing rabbits and roasting them.

The four little ones smelled the aroma and gathered around.

Su Tang watched over Si Bao with some concern, "Si Bao, are you feeling unwell? Or are you hungry?"

Although Sibao usually looks lazy, he's never been so listless and weak, like he's sick.

Si Bao opened his eyes and glanced at Su Tang.

"Meow……"

It let out a soft cry, nuzzled against Su Tang's hand, and, seemingly exhausted, closed its eyes and continued sleeping.

"Tangtang, what's wrong with Sibao?" Su Shiwei walked over.

"I don't know. Si Bao seemed off ever since we escaped from the wolf pack. I wonder if he's sick," Su Tang said, frowning as she looked at Si Bao's heaving belly.

Sibao had no wounds, and apart from being lethargic and weak, he seemed no different from the other cubs.

Even when I spent all day with Lion Sky a few days ago, it wasn't like this.

I checked my skin and there was nothing unusual.

Su Tang couldn't figure out where the problem lay.

"Don't worry, we'll see when we get back. Maybe Sibao was just frightened on the way," Su Shiwei comforted her. "We'll go home tomorrow."

"Okay." Su Tang nodded; that was all she could do.

Su Shiwei carefully brought over water, cotton clothes, and towels, and asked Su Tang and Mao Jiu to wash and change.

Their clothes were already soaked with layers of sweat, and even after they dried, they still felt sticky.

Taking advantage of the darkness, the two went behind a tree to quickly wash up and change into clean clothes, immediately feeling much more refreshed.

The orcs over there have finished roasting the rabbit meat.

One of the four cubs brought back a piece and gave it to Su Tang.

Su Tang's mouth watered as she looked at the meat, which was practically dripping onto the ground.

"Good boy/girl, you can eat by yourselves."

Da Bao picked up an extra piece, placed it in front of Si Bao, and pushed it forward with its paw.

"Dabao is so sensible, he even knows how to take care of Sibao." Su Tang rubbed Dabao's head and this time did not refuse Dabao's kindness. She woke up Sibao and fed it some rabbit meat.

After eating the meat, Sibao seemed to have recovered some of his energy.

She simply stayed with Su Tang and refused to go anywhere else.

At night, the beastmen took turns keeping watch, and Su Tang and Mao Jiu finally got a good night's sleep.

The next morning, Su Tang and her group set off for home.

With Su Shiwei and the beastmen around, the journey back was much smoother and easier.

On the fifth day at noon, the group finally saw the stone tablet outside the territory marked with plum blossom paw prints.

The cubs were overjoyed to see the familiar place, jumped off the orc's back, and ran around happily.

The orcs in the territory cried out with joy upon seeing the cub.

"It's Ah Tang and the cubs back!"

Before Su Tang could return to the cabin, some orcs went back to tell Su Guodong and Lin Xia the good news.

The two elders quickly brought Xiao Fu out with them.

Su Tang jumped off the lawn and took Si Bao off Su Shiwei's back.

Sibao swayed unsteadily, his feet feeling a little unsteady. Surprisingly, he didn't fall asleep but instead stood at Sutang's feet.

"Tangtang, you're finally back! We were so worried about you."

"Honey, were you hurt outside?"

"Sister! My little one!"

The two elders, accompanied by Xiao Fu, came to greet them. Seeing that Su Tang was safe and sound and all the cubs were still alive, the three of them finally felt relieved.

"Father and Mother, I'm sorry to have worried you. I'm fine, it's just that Sibao..." Su Tang was about to explain Sibao's condition.

The four treasures at my feet suddenly swayed.

He fell to the ground with a thud.
