A leopard walked at the very back of the orcs.
The griffin-like orc in the air spotted its first target, swooped down, and its sharp, knife-like talons pierced the leopard's back.
Even though the other orcs ahead sensed the approaching danger, they were too slow to react.
The griffin orcs were incredibly fast.
However!
Just when the griffin orcs thought they would succeed easily this time, just like before...
The leopard on the ground suddenly transformed into human form.
The next instant, the leopard-like orc threw out a black object.
The distance was too close, and the griffin orc couldn't dodge in time.
"Pfft!"
A sound like something piercing flesh.
The griffin-man looked down and saw that the black thing was deeply embedded in his chest cavity, with a thin rope still attached to it.
It flapped its wings and shook its body, trying to pull the thing out.
But it was no use; the more it struggled, the more painful it became, as if the thing was tightly gripping its bones.
Even if they wanted to escape, they had no way to leave.
The griffin-orc let out a mournful cry.
not good!
There was an ambush here!
The other griffin orcs also noticed something was wrong, their expressions changed drastically, and they turned to leave.
Just then, a blue shadow appeared behind them.
Its enormous blue wings were in no way weaker than those of the griffin orc. With a powerful flap of its wings, it sent a gust of wind carrying red powder towards the griffin orc.
The next second, the griffins felt a sharp pain in their eyes.
A group of griffin orcs scattered in all directions like headless flies.
"Daqing, well done!" Su Jianyuan shouted excitedly upon seeing this. "Yingjie and Niuli, now's the time to catch them!"
Niu Li, who was walking ahead, hurried over to help, while Ying Jie quickly went to inform Hu Shen.
An hour later.
Hu Shen and Su Jianyuan, who had arrived with the orcs, captured all the griffin orcs.
There were eight griffins in this group.
Eight griffin-like orcs had their wings broken and were tightly bound together with vines.
Perhaps not wanting to be exposed, these griffin orcs remained in their beast form and refused to utter a single word.
One griffin orc was bleeding from its abdomen, while seven griffin orcs had bloodshot eyes and were constantly shedding tears.
Anyone who didn't know better would think Su Jianyuan was some heinous demon, and wondered why he was bullying them.
The orcs were seeing orcs with such peculiar animal forms for the first time, their gazes fixed on them without any attempt to conceal their presence, which made the griffin orcs feel extremely humiliated.
They had been captured by these orcs.
How shameful!
Ying Jie watched as Su Jianyuan wiped the black blade with a leaf and couldn't help but ask:
"Ah Yuan, what did you just throw? Why couldn't that griffin beastman pull it out?"
His eyes shone with amazement.
This thing is amazing! If the orcs of Ten Thousand Beasts Mountain could use it, their combat power would definitely be greatly enhanced.
"This is an iron weapon made by the bamboo bear beastmen on our farm. It has barbs on it, and once it gets into your body, you can't pull it out unless you pull the whole piece of flesh off."
Su Jianyuan held up what he was holding and explained without any hesitation.
He usually doesn't use it unless he goes hunting deep in the forest.
He only used his trump card today because he was dealing with the griffin orcs.
"Ironware? It's incredibly powerful!" Ying Jie exclaimed in surprise.
This thing is even more powerful than their claws.
If you use this to hunt, you're sure to catch a lot of prey.
"Ah Yuan, what was that red powder that Da Qing just scattered? Why can't the griffin beastmen see the road? Is it poison?" Niu Li asked curiously.
If Daqing hadn't scattered the red powder in time, the griffin orc might have escaped.
"That's another trump card of mine," Su Jianye chuckled. "It's chili powder."
He likes strong flavors, and barbecued meat tastes better with chili powder, so Lin Xia packed a lot of chili powder in her luggage before she left home.
Before leaving home today, he casually put some in his pocket.
The main selling point is to catch people off guard.
"Chili powder?!" Niu Li was stunned. He and Hu Shen had lived on the farm for a while and knew a little about the magical crops that Su Guodong grew.
All he knew was that the fruit called chili pepper was delicious when added to meat.
I never expected it to have this use.
He immediately clutched his stomach, his face filled with terror. "If I ate it before, will it have blinded me too?!"
Su Jianyuan laughed heartily, "No, this isn't poisonous, it's just that it irritates the eyes, so you can't put it in direct contact with your eyes."
He explained.
Niu Li breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that it was a good thing he had never provoked A Tang's family before; they were just too terrifying.
Anything they pull out could take half the orc's life.
“My lord, these griffin orcs refuse to say anything,” one of his men said to Hu Shen.
Hu Shen glanced at the griffin orcs. Although their eyes were stung by the chili powder, he still noticed that these griffin orcs were occasionally casting glances at him.
They clearly know themselves.
Su Jianyuan's suggestion was correct; if he had come out in person, these griffin orcs might not have shown up.
My gratitude towards Su Jianyuan has grown even stronger.
"Take them back to Ten Thousand Beasts Mountain and interrogate them thoroughly," Hu Shen ordered.
Thanks to Su Jianyuan's two trump cards, none of their orcs were injured this time.
This was quite unexpected.
