Chapter 353 Feeding Hu Shen Raw Oysters

Hu Shen frowned and shook his head. "I'm male, so a little injury is nothing to me."

No male is immune to injury.

When a male is injured, it is to protect the female.

If you can't even protect your own females, then you're a useless person.

Su Tang looked at the countless injuries on his body and thought to herself, "Come on, you almost didn't wake up, and you're still trying to be strong."

However, he smiled and said, "Alright, now that you're injured, you should rest well."

She suddenly clapped her hands.

"By the way, now that you're awake, you can eat more."

Su Tang hurriedly added wood to the nearly extinguished fire, and the fire quickly blazed up again.

She was certain that Hu Shen's successful recovery was largely due to the influence of Tai Sui.

If you use Ganoderma lucidum, it might be effective, but it would take at least ten days to half a month for him to wake up.

Su Tang skillfully cut off two fist-sized pieces of the Tai Sui and put them inside a coconut to cook.

A look of confusion appeared in Hu Shen's eyes. "What is this?"

He looked at the large white "lump of flesh" in the corner.

"This is Tai Sui, also known as meat Lingzhi. It's a very good medicinal herb. I found it by the sea. It's thanks to this that you were able to wake up. Eat more of it and you'll recover faster."

Su Tang explained, half-jokingly.

Previously, Hu Shen could only wake up by drinking some soup and eating some minced meat.

If you can eat more of the flesh of the Tai Sui, your recovery will definitely be better.

Putting everything else aside, Su Tang was worried that his serious injury might leave him with some kind of chronic illness.

Then she'll feel guilty for the rest of her life.

Hu Shen watched Su Tang's busy movements, and saw a pile of firewood, fruit shells, shrimp shells, and crab shells in the stone cave...

Finding so many things must have taken a lot of effort.

He dared not imagine how difficult it must have been for Atang during the two days he was unconscious.

How terrified she must have been, a female alone on this desolate island, guarding her unconscious self.

Hu Shen wanted to get up and help.

Just as he was about to stand up, Su Tang quickly grabbed his shoulder.

"Don't move. Just focus on recovering. If something happens to you, I can't stand being alone on this island."

Su Tang frowned, her face serious.

Feeling the soft touch on his shoulder, even though he didn't have much strength, Hu Shen still sat down.

He wanted to say that he would be fine, but when he met Su Tang's serious eyes, he nodded obediently as if possessed.

"Okay, I won't move."

After thinking for a moment, he moved to the fireside.

"I'll help you add some fuel to the fire."

He saw that Ah Tang's face was red from the fire, and several strands of hair on his forehead were singed.

Because her hand was broken and she had nothing to shield her from the fire, Su Tang had to get very close to the flame to control its temperature.

"Okay, if you feel unwell, just tell me. Don't push yourself."

Seeing that he insisted, Su Tang stopped trying to stop him.

A pot of Tai Sui soup was quickly cooked.

The pot is still half a large coconut.

Su Tang used a coconut that had been roasted yesterday as a bowl and filled Hu Shen's bowl with a lot of Tai Sui meat.

Knowing that this medicine would help him recover quickly, Hu Shen wasn't afraid of the heat and finished it in a few bites.

While eating, she continued cooking and served Hu Shen three times. Su Tang wanted to serve more, but Hu Shen waved her hand.

"I'm stuffed."

Su Tang then stopped, and there was still one pot left, which she ate all of.

After eating and drinking his fill, Hu Shen felt his body gradually recovering, as if an invisible energy was circulating throughout his body.

However, his injuries had not yet healed, and any movement would aggravate them. Su Tang was afraid that his injuries would worsen, so she still did not let him move around.

"A-Tang, where are you going?"

Seeing that Su Tang was about to leave the cave, Hu Shen immediately stood up to follow her.

"Don't move, I'll go look for a water source nearby. You can't drink the sea water," Su Tang explained.

Drinking coconut juice all the time isn't a good solution; the biggest problem right now is the lack of a water source.

The reason we hadn't cleaned Hu Shen's wounds before was because of this; if we had used seawater to clean them, it would have been excruciatingly painful.

That would really be rubbing salt into the wound.

"I'll go find it, you rest here." Hu Shen made a move to get up and go out.

How could he let Ah Tang, a female, go to find water?

What if we encounter danger or get injured?

"Hey, wait! Your injury hasn't healed yet. You can't move around right now. Wait until you're fully recovered before going out." Su Tang quickly came back and pulled him back.

She finally waited until he woke up, but she couldn't take any more turmoil.

“You can’t go either.” Hu Shen frowned and thought for a moment before saying, “I’ll rest for another half day and my body will be almost fully recovered. When I go out to find a water source, you stay here and don’t go anywhere.”

After eating the Tai Sui, he felt much better.

Although a full recovery is impossible, going out to find a water source is still possible.

"Okay, then I won't go. You get some rest."

Su Tang had no choice but to compromise.

After she finished speaking, she walked out again.

"Didn't you say you weren't going?" Hu Shen's eyebrows furrowed instantly.

"I'm going to pick some fruit. I don't need to find a water source. This thing can be used as a container to hold water. The fruit tree is right next to me, very close."

Su Tang explained.

She cut open all the coconuts in the cave and used them as pots.

Coconuts don't last long when heated; they're lucky if they can be used even once.

Upon hearing this, Hu Shen did not stop him, but only gave him some instructions:

"Then be careful. If there is any danger, shout for me. Come back after you've picked the fruit."

He only regretted that his injuries were healing too slowly, and that he actually needed Ah Tang to take care of him.
