Another lonely night passed, and Hu Shen went to apologize to Su Tang early in the morning with dark circles under his eyes.
"A-Tang, I know I was wrong. Come back to sleep. Without you here, I..."
"Your injuries are all healed. Don't complain about the pain. If it still hurts, go stay in the veterinarian's cave and let the veterinarian help you recover."
Su Tang glanced at him and interrupted.
Hu Shen was speechless for a moment.
If Ying Jie and Niu Li were here right now, they would be astonished that their incomparably brave king, who could command all beasts, couldn't even stand up straight in front of Su Tang.

Hu Shen caught the pillow and placed it on the bed. He then boiled some water and brought it to Su Tang to wash up. He also cooked a pot of lean meat porridge and buried sweet potatoes in the stove before going out to fetch the five children.
When we arrived at the stone house where the two elders lived, the five children were rolling around outside.
Upon noticing that Daqing was also here today, Hu Shen raised an eyebrow and, unusually, asked:
Why weren't you with Ying Liu'er today?
Could this kid be so useless that he didn't catch Ying Liu'er's eye?
Don't come back and try to take advantage of Ah Tang again.

The males at the entrance of the cave hurriedly pushed and shoved their way forward.
Ying Liuer came out carrying a cub wrapped in animal skin, whose eyes were not yet open and whose amniotic fluid had just been wiped away.
"She just gave birth to one. My aunt told you not to worry. The female is in good health, and the cubs aren't very big yet. There are still a few more in her belly. It will take some more time before she finishes giving birth."
Several males leaned their heads closer.
One of the males suddenly jumped up and laughed loudly: "They're my leopard cubs! Ashin's first litter of cubs is mine!"
That thunderous laughter almost ruptured Ying Liu'er's eardrums.
She was about to frown when she remembered that her father must have been just as happy when she was born, and her brow relaxed.
"Be quiet, don't disturb the female inside, she hasn't finished giving birth yet."
"If you have nothing else to do, prepare some hot water and food. Females are weak after giving birth for a long time and need to eat. Also, bring some clean animal hides."
Ying Liu'er's words immediately got the males busy.

The female gave birth to four cubs. After receiving permission, the males rushed in to see their mate.
Seeing that the cub and its mate were safe and sound, the males expressed their gratitude to Lin Xia and presented her with a precious white stone as a thank-you gift.
Lin Xia accepted the gifts without hesitation, and two more males offered to take the two of them back.
"Auntie, you go back first, I want to go for a walk outside," Ying Liuer said to Lin Xia.
Lin Xia thought she was frightened by the bloody scene of the recent childbirth, so she said she wouldn't bring the girl. But the girl insisted on coming, saying that she wasn't afraid of blood.
What little girl isn't afraid of blood? She's just being brave!
This girl must have felt bad about eating for free at home, so she wanted to help out and brought her along to pass on a message. But she still scared her.
