Chapter 83 Wolf Qi's Report

Wolf Qi didn't believe in this superstition and tried many times, but the result was always the same.

He's on the verge of a breakdown!

"That bitch Nini, it's all her fault! If she hadn't kicked me out, I wouldn't be like this!"

The more Wolf Qi thought about it, the less he could accept this fact.

But Wolf Nini is a female in the tribe, and he is no longer Wolf Nini's mate, so it's impossible for him to seek revenge on her.

If he harms Wolf Nini, he is very likely to be driven out of the tribe by the chief.

But he couldn't swallow this insult!

After much thought, Lang Qi decided to hold a grudge against Su Tang.

"It was all Atang's doing! Before she came to the Gray Wolf Tribe, Wolf Nini never doubted me or argued with me. Recently, Wolf Nini has been spending a lot of time with her. Atang must have said something to Wolf Nini!"

"A-Tang, I'll make you pay!" Lang Qi gritted his teeth, his eyes filled with resentment.

Didn't she want to exchange for the White Stone with Wolf Nini? Then he'll make sure she can't!

He wanted to see how this female would survive without Bai Shi!

Wolf Qi immediately found the Gray Wolf Leader.

"Chief, I want to report Wolf Nini. She helped the wandering orcs exchange for white stones!"

He didn't say it was Su Tang, but directly used the name of the wandering orc.

Upon hearing that it was related to the wandering orcs, the gray wolf leader's face darkened as he asked, "What's going on?"

"Wolf Nini has taken the wild beastmen's prey and wants to put the wild beastmen's prey together with our tribe's to exchange for white stones. Chief, if the Beast Mountain finds out we're helping the wild beastmen, they definitely won't exchange white stones for us anymore..."

Wolf Qi embellished the story and recounted the events.

The Gray Wolf Tribe knew that Su Tang was hanging out with the wandering orcs.

Wolf Nini was closest to Su Tang, so when the Gray Wolf leader heard this, he didn't suspect a thing.

"Nonsense! How can Wolf Nini be so insensible? Someone, take back the supplies Wolf Nini handed over and give them back to her. She is not allowed to interfere in anything related to the wandering orcs!"

The gray wolf leader, his face dark, immediately ordered his men to return the supplies to Wolf Nini.

He might turn a blind eye to Su Tang exchanging Bai Shi for Bai Shi, but not to the wandering orcs!

If they really help the wandering orcs, they will become outcasts among other tribes, and it will be a question whether they can even establish themselves on this continent in the future.

Upon hearing the leader's words, Lang Qi's face revealed a smug and delighted expression.

Su Tang is doomed now!

...

Outside the thatched hut, Su Tang and Lin Xia were trying to make sugar from sugarcane.

They made a simple juicer out of stones, and the mother and daughter spent the whole morning tinkering with it, putting the extracted sugarcane juice into an earthenware pot to simmer.

The five cubs rolled around at Su Tang's feet, happily licking the sugarcane residue.

After simmering all morning, I finally reduced a large pot of sugarcane juice to a small bowl. Once it cooled, the super-concentrated sugar syrup solidified. I then broke the solidified sugar into small, thumb-sized pieces.

The color and appearance are certainly not as good as white sugar, but the taste is good, sweet and delicious, which is much healthier than the sugar sold today.

However, the amount of sugar produced was too small, and someone had to keep an eye on it constantly, otherwise it would burn. So, after making one batch of sugar, we stopped making it.

She should just eat the sugarcane directly!

The remaining sugar in the pot wasn't wasted either. A bowl of water was poured in, the pot was rinsed, and another bowl of sugar water was made, which the five kittens were given to try.

The five cubs slurped and licked the bowl with great relish.

Just then, Lang Qi arrived with several gray wolf orcs. Before Su Tang could speak, he threw a pile of things on the ground.

Su Tang took one look and realized that this was the very material she had asked Lang Nini to deliver in exchange for Bai Shi.

"Lang Qi, what do you mean by this?" Su Tang glared coldly at Lang Qi, who seemed to have ill intentions.

Wolf Qi stood with his hands on his hips, a smug look on his face. "A Tang, you're not a female in our tribe. The chief said he won't help you exchange for white stones. I've returned all your things to you. Don't try to take advantage of our tribe in the future!"

"Don't think that Wolf Nini can help you. Don't even think about replacing Shiraishi."

If they don't eat the White Stone Orcs, they will become weak, easily get sick, and won't live long.

Many orcs died because of this.

Su Tang has prevented him from exercising his male abilities, and he won't let Su Tang get away with it!

Upon hearing this, Su Tang knew that Lang Qi must have done something to cause trouble.

She snorted and splashed a basin of the cubs' bottom-washing water onto Wolf Qi.

"roll!"

She wasn't polite at all, and didn't bother to say a single unnecessary word.

Wolf Qi was laughing loudly when suddenly a basin of water was splashed on him, and he was caught off guard and drank a big mouthful.

"Ptooey! Ptooey! Ah Tang, how dare you splash water on me!"

Wolf Qi glared at Su Tang with a gloomy expression, looking like he was about to make a move.

However, before he could get arrogant, he was stopped by Da Qing, Su Shiwei and the other two who had returned after hearing the commotion.

Daqing flew back in its beast form, its huge wings slapping Langqi hard across the face several times, the last wing sending him flying.

The gray wolf orc who came with him had already avoided Su Tang when she splashed water.

Only Lang Qi fell flat on his face.

Wolf Qi, enraged, scrambled to his feet, his face full of fury, and said:

"A-Tang, don't be so arrogant. I'm not just a beastman here today. Don't think I'll be afraid of you just because you have some wandering beastmen!"

As he spoke, he was about to call for help from the gray wolf orcs behind him.

However, when he turned around, he saw the backs of several gray wolves.

Wolf Qi: "..." Why didn't he even call out to him before leaving!

The gray wolf orcs aren't stupid. They already resent Wolf Qi for making them miss out on Wolf Nini, so why would they help him?

Naturally, he left after completing the task assigned by the leader.

Su Shiwei stepped forward with a large axe, and with a single swing, plunged it deep into a large log thicker than her waist. "Get out of here!"

Wolf Qi's face turned pale, and he quickly ran away.

He only stopped when he ran back to the tribe, panting heavily with lingering fear.

He couldn't even catch prey, let alone fight. He had only ever been a punching bag since he was a child, and he wouldn't dare to fight without any help.

"That damned Ah Tang, her whole family is no good! Ugh..."

Lang Qi wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth that Da Qing had slapped out, and gasped in pain.

"Damn it, that wandering orc is really ruthless. When the rainy season comes and there's no white stone to eat, let's see how arrogant you'll be then!"

The feathers on the big blue bird's wings are not ordinary feathers; each one is extremely sharp.

Wolf Qi's entire face was covered in bloodstains, and it was swollen like a pig's head.

He cursed inwardly, but he dared not go back to seek revenge.

After the pain subsided a little, Wolf Qi felt that the smell in his mouth and on his body was not right. He lowered his head and sniffed his armpits:

"Why does this water taste so strange? Could it be that my sense of smell and taste have been damaged by the beating..."
