"I'm not going back."
Wolf Nini took a few steps back and looked at Wolf Qi with a strange expression.
"Does a female who doesn't mate with a male not deserve to stay in the tribe?"
"Why is it necessary to mate with a member of the tribe to join the tribe? Does that mean that if a female in the tribe doesn't find a mate, she will also be expelled from the tribe?"
Wolf Nini turned to look at the gray wolf leader and questioned him.
Females must find a mate once they reach adulthood, and regardless of whether they give birth to offspring, they must find a second mate after one year.
No female in the tribe had ever violated this rule, and she had never questioned it.

The leader didn't think he had done anything wrong at all, and instead asked Wolf Nini a question.
“Because…because…” Wolf Nini was stunned and didn’t know how to answer for a moment.
“Females can also repay the tribe in other ways; mating and giving birth to cubs are not the only ways to repay the tribe,” Su Tang said loudly as she approached Wolf Nini.
"That's utter nonsense! What else can females do besides mate with males and give birth to cubs?" Lang Qi rebuked Su Tang without hesitation.
Does she think females and males are the same?
Other methods? How ridiculous!
The gray wolf leader just smiled dismissively and didn't take Su Tang's words to heart.
"A-Tang, it's not too late for you to decide to come to the Gray Wolf Tribe. If you don't come, there's nothing I can do about what the wandering orcs might do to you."
Hearing this, Daqing, standing to the side, raised his hand in dissatisfaction and pointed at the gray wolf leader:
"Hey! Didn't you say you weren't going to interfere? Why are you trying to steal a female from me?"
To try and steal his partner right in front of him, this leader really doesn't respect him at all!
"A-Tang, what's so great about the tribe? If you become my partner, I can give you everything the tribe doesn't have. Don't go!"
Daqing hurriedly turned back to persuade Sutang.
They were afraid that Su Tang might do something rash and listen to the leader of the gray wolves.
"You've already promised me, and you even swore an oath to the Beast God. If you go back on your word, you'll be punished by the Beast God!"
The gray wolf orcs around them sneered.
It's ridiculous that a wandering orc would believe that the Beast God would protect him.
In an instant, all eyes fell on Su Tang.
Wolf Nini clenched her fingers nervously, her palms sweating. She could tell that neither of these options was what Su Tang wanted.
"Tangtang." Su Shiwei shook his head slightly at Su Tang, his gaze firm, "No matter what, your brother will help you."
Su Jianyuan squinted at one of his bruised eyes and shook his head vigorously.
Su Tang gave them a reassuring smile, "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing."
She turned around calmly.
"I'm sorry, leader of the gray wolves, I don't want to find a mate for the time being."
"So you're going back to the forest with me?" Daqing asked with delight, so excited that several clumps of mud off his head fell off.
"I won't go to the forest either."
"Ah! So you still want to back out? You liar, how could you lie to me..."
Daqing's eyes turned red with anxiety, looking like a wronged victim.
This made Su Tang laugh.
She felt that this wandering orc, apart from being stronger, seemed to lack intelligence due to his stubbornness.
"I have no regrets."
Fearing that Daqing might do something rash again, Su Tang quickly interrupted him.
“Since you don’t accept compensation, you can come back with me. I live nearby.”
Upon hearing this, Su Jianyuan's eyes widened. "Sister! Why are you taking him back? What will happen to our parents?"
Is he going to have another brother-in-law so soon?
If he goes back, won't his mom tear him apart?
He came out to protect his sister, but he failed to protect her and instead let that pig walk right up to his door.
"It's okay, I'll handle things over there." Su Tang patted Su Jianyuan's arm.
The slap landed squarely on Su Jianyuan's bruise, causing him to wince in pain and his words of protest were cut off.
What's the point of him trying to persuade me again?
He couldn't beat them in a fight, and the only one who could beat them refused to help. Helping them would require him to sign an unequal treaty that would sell his sister. One trap after another awaited him.
He's having such a hard time!
Su Shiwei gave Su Tang a deep look, and seeing that she was confident, he did not try to persuade her further.
What Su Jianyuan could think of, he naturally had already thought of long ago.
If Sutang has a better solution, that would be even better.
"Go back with you?" Da Qing was clearly taken aback, seemingly not expecting Su Tang to say that.
"You...you're willing to let me go to your place and stay with you?"
"Yes, either come back with me, or accept compensation and return to your forest. The choice is yours."
Su Tang nodded seriously.
Although it was something Atang had agreed to, he was, after all, the cub's father, and she wasn't sure if the cub would want its father by its side when it grew up.
She didn't really care about the cubs before, and even thought that as long as the cubs were alive, that was enough.
