"The chief sent me to tell you that Wolf Kui has woken up and wants to see you."
The gray wolf orc has come to deliver a message.
Upon hearing this, Su Tang was taken aback. "See me?"
Why would Lang Kui see her when he just woke up? She's not a veterinarian and can't treat him.
"Yes, do you have time now to come with me to see Wolf Kui?" The gray wolf orc said sternly, ignoring Su Tang's doubts, and continued to ask.
Su Tang thought about how she still owed Lang Kui a huge favor, so she naturally couldn't avoid him and nodded.
"Okay, wait for me a moment."
Su Tang walked towards Lin Xia and her husband, who were not far away.
"Tangtang, what happened? What did that orc want with you?" Lin Xia didn't hear what the two were saying, and asked with a worried look when Su Tang approached.
"It's okay, Mom." Su Tang told Lin Xia about her trip to the Gray Wolf Tribe.
She usually goes to Lang Nini's house every day to exchange breast milk, so today she'll just consider it a side trip to Lang Kui's house, it's nothing.
Upon hearing that they were going to see Lang Kui, the two elders became even more worried.
"Honey, you should go with Tangtang. I'm afraid that wolf will bully Tangtang again," Lin Xia said, frowning.
"Okay, but honey, can you handle the deer by yourself?" Su Guodong nodded without thinking, then looked at Lin Xia with concern.
He had a hard time carrying that deer by himself.
He couldn't bear to see his wife tired.
"Sure, you can go and keep Tangtang company. Don't worry about things at home."
Lin Xia pushed Su Guodong out without hesitation.
To put her parents at ease, Su Tang didn't refuse. "Okay, Dad, you can come with me. We can exchange the breast milk on the way."
She wrapped two fruits in leaves, intending to take them with her.
Before he could leave, Lin Xia called him back:
"Wait a minute, take this meat with you too. We'll pay back Lang Kui what we owe him slowly."
Lin Xia chopped off a large piece of meat, weighing about twenty pounds, tied it with a vine, and handed it to Su Guodong.
She didn't want her daughter to get entangled with that wolf Kui over some food.
They will repay what they owe, so don't even think about taking advantage of her daughter.
"Alright!" Su Guodong took the venison and gave Lin Xia a reassuring look.
Su Tang and Su Guodong arrived in front of the thatched hut. The gray wolf orc was already getting impatient and asked irritably:
"Are you done? If you are, hurry up and go. I still need to go back and report to the chief."
I really don't understand why the leader has to concern himself with this female's affairs.
Clearly, none of these orcs are useful. Even if there are two females, the males in their family will stick to the tribe like stink bugs, dragging the tribe down.
"Alright, let's go." Su Tang didn't care about the gray wolf beastman's attitude.
The gray wolf orcs were in beast form and ran very fast, so the two of them couldn't keep up with them on two legs.
The orcs here mostly travel in their animal forms, while the females can travel in their human forms, since females are usually carried by males when they travel.
Seeing this, Su Guodong also transformed into his beast form.
His beast form was a white fox, much larger than any fox Su Tang had ever seen, probably because the beastmen here all had relatively large beast forms.
There's more than enough room for one person to sit on your back.
Su Tang wasn't used to using her animal form, so she sat directly on Su Guodong's back, holding fruit and venison.
Su Guodong had only learned how to transform into beast form that morning, and was not proficient at all; he could only walk steadily with difficulty.
Staggering and swaying, they slowly followed behind the gray wolf orcs, soon falling far behind.
The gray wolf orc turned to look at the two, his green wolf eyes filled with disdain. What a useless orc, even his walking speed is so slow, no wonder he has to sell his cubs to make a living.
It was an hour later when Su Guodong arrived at the Gray Wolf Tribe.
Upon arriving at the Gray Wolf Tribe, Su Tang resolutely got down and walked on her own, refusing to ride on Su Guodong's back any longer.
The reason is simple: it's just too slow.
It was alright outside the tribe, but once inside, many orcs were watching them, and she really didn't want to be looked at like a monkey.
The gray wolf orcs disliked Su Guodong even more.
So useless!
He can't even carry a single female on his back!
How could their tribe allow such a weak orc to join? It's a disgrace to the Gray Wolf tribe!
"Daughter, why do I feel like this orc is looking at me strangely?" Su Guodong asked Su Tang in a low voice as he walked behind the gray wolf orc.
Since he left, the gray wolf orc has looked back at him no less than thirty times.
Could this gray wolf have some kind of fetish?
"You're overthinking it, Dad." Su Tang had naturally noticed it too, but to avoid putting her father on a psychological burden, she pretended not to know anything.
These days, the dumber you are, the easier life is.
Conversely, the smarter a person is, the less happy they are.
Su Tang thinks her dad is the stupid one.
"Really..." Su Guodong looked at the gray wolf beastman suspiciously, but didn't think much of it after hearing his daughter say that.
Soon the two arrived at Wolfman's cave.
Logically, Wolf Kui should live with other males, but after he was injured and fell into a coma, Wolf Man took him back to his cave to take care of him.
"We've arrived. You can go in yourselves. I'm going to report to the chief." The gray wolf orc didn't want to stay a second longer and turned to leave.
The entrance to the cave.
Wolf Green was squatting on the ground playing with pebbles, his head covered in pig's fur.
"Lang Qing, I've come to find your brother..."
Su Tang raised her hand to greet Lang Qing, wanting him to go in and announce her arrival.
When Lang Qing saw Su Tang arrive, he suddenly shuddered and turned to run into the cave.
"Mother! She's here!!"
