Su Jianyuan and Niu Li were both prepared. They transformed into their beast forms and swiftly darted through the grass, rescuing the luggage as well.
The vibration lasted only a dozen seconds.
After the two of them retrieved their luggage from the gaping maw of the abyss, the ground had gradually returned to calm.
Only a few deep, bottomless cracks in the ground proved that an earthquake had just occurred.
Daqing was still worried, so he held onto Sutang and Sibao and flew in the air for another ten minutes or so. Only after confirming that there was no danger did he find a relatively intact open space to put the two of them down.
"Brother, Niu Li, are you alright?" Su Tang asked, holding Si Bao and looking at the two of them with concern.
This was her first time experiencing an earthquake. Before, there had never been an earthquake in the area where she lived. Even if there were earthquakes in nearby cities, they were far away and she wouldn't feel even the slightest tremor.
Experiencing an earthquake for the first time and witnessing its power firsthand, Su Tang felt as if a giant drum was pounding in her heart, and the drumhead was about to burst.
"Little sister, you've underestimated your brother!" Su Jianyuan patted his chest.
"I'm fine, Tang. Luckily you had the foresight not to let us rest at the bottom of the cliff or in the cave, otherwise we probably would have been crushed." Niu Li had a look of relief on his face, and his usual simple-mindedness was gone.
Because the surrounding terrain is flat and there are no obstacles, there is no danger except for watching your step.
But in the distant jungle, it was a different story. Towering trees and cliffs were trembling violently, about to collapse, with trees falling by their roots and cliffs looking like a pile of broken building blocks.
It looked like the end of the world was coming.
From their vantage point, Daqing and Sutang had a wide view and witnessed the entire scene unfold.
Everyone was still shaken, and even Sibao clung tightly to Sutang, afraid that what had just happened would repeat itself.

At the bottom of the cliff, Ying Yiyi and Ying Tai, along with their group of orcs, were fast asleep.
They weren't even awake when the earthquake struck.
A second or two later, small stones were shaken down and hit Ying Tai and Ying Yiyi in the face.
"Who is it! Don't touch me, it hurts so much..." Ying Yiyi was woken up and was a little angry, thinking it was someone's prank.
When she opened her eyes, she saw a huge rock falling from above. She screamed in fright, but luckily Ying Tai, who was next to her, reacted quickly and pulled her aside.
The terrified cries of the Azure Eagle Beastmen could also be heard outside the cave.
"Eagle Tai, something terrible has happened! We've encountered an earth dragon turning over!"
Ying Yiyi gripped Ying Tai's arm tightly, her legs trembling. "Brother, what should we do..."
"Don't be afraid, Yiyi, I'll take you out." Unable to spread his wings in the cave, Ying Tai picked up Ying Yiyi horizontally and rushed out of the cave.
Even so, he was still hit by several stones, and blood immediately seeped out.

Ying Tai looked down and saw that Ying Yiyi's arm had been scraped, but it wasn't bleeding. It was just a little red, and there were white strips of skin scraped off.
"Brother will blow on it for you, Yiyi, it's alright, it won't hurt in a bit." Ying Tai was heartbroken and quickly blew on her wound.
Ying Yiyi was so aggrieved that she was about to cry, but she ignored the bloody wounds on Ying Tai and the other Qingying beastmen.
Ying Tai also had a hole punched in his back, and a piece of flesh was missing. However, he wouldn't show it in front of his sister. Females are delicate and naturally can't be compared to males.
After much comforting, Ying Yiyi finally stopped crying.
The other Azure Eagle Orcs checked their injuries amidst hissing gasps; some had their heads smashed open, some had their legs smashed, and some had half their wings broken.
The thought that several of their clansmen hadn't even managed to escape weighed heavily on their hearts.
If they had known it would turn out like this, they would never have gone there to rest.
"Brother, it's that female, they're here too!" Ying Yiyi suddenly spotted several small dark figures not far away.
Takaya also turned his head to look.
Su Tang and her group were just a few hundred meters away from where they landed.
They were completely unharmed, without a single wound, and not even a single piece of their luggage was missing!
