The next day, after waiting for a long time, the captain and his wife went to the door together to look for Zhu Qinghao and Si Tian.
The two of them happened to be chatting at Si Tian's house when the couple arrived, so there was no need to call anyone; everything was there on its own.
"Uncle and Aunt, Captain, come and sit down. Come and peel some sunflower seeds."
While Si Tian was greeting people, Zhu Qinghao had already tidied up the things on the other two seats so that the two of them could sit down directly when they came in.
As soon as Tian Haiying entered the door, Zhu Qinghao greeted her with a smile.
"Auntie, Uncle Brigade Leader, come and sit down, we've prepared melon seeds and tea for you!"
"Oh, that's wonderful! Looks like we old folks made the right choice coming today, we're in for a treat! Hahaha!"
Si Tian followed her in and, upon hearing Tian Haiying's voice, smiled and took over the conversation.
"Oh, Auntie is so easy to please! A couple of handfuls of melon seeds are all you need? Looks like we don't need to prepare a meal for her?"
Tian Haiying had become familiar with the two people, and she could tell at a glance that they were joking.
So once they reached the location, they stopped moving.
"Oh dear, look at what Little Sweetie is saying. Little Zhu, do you think I should sit down or not?"
However, before Zhu Qinghao could reply, Si Tian went over to her, put her arm around her shoulder, and pushed her into the seat.
"My dear aunt, please don't hold it against me. Sit down, okay? If you're standing, how can I sit down?"
Tian Haiying laughed loudly, pointed at Si Tian, and looked at Zhu Qinghao and Wang Fulin, saying with a smile:
"Look at that mouth! Who can out-argue it? I certainly can't. I admit defeat!"
As soon as he said that, everyone burst into laughter.
After the couple had sat down and drunk some tea, Si Tian finally couldn't help but ask:
"Uncle, Aunt, what brings you here this time? Is it about that matter? Did the commune give you a reply?"
Si Tian asked this question aloud, but she was quite certain in her heart.
That's indeed the case. Whether the answer was good or bad, there must have been a result before they were asked to come together.
Wang Fulin and Tian Haiying exchanged a glance, nudged each other for a while, and finally Tian Haiying spoke to them.
"That's right, didn't we take some of the bean sprouts we grew at home to the commune that day?"

Si Tian's eyes lit up; she was so excited she almost stood up.
"They agreed? That's wonderful! I knew they would agree. As expected of Aunt Haiying, with you involved, it seems there's nothing that can't be accomplished!"
Zhu Qinghao was also a little excited and quickly asked:
"Wouldn't that mean our team's side business can get off the ground very quickly? But what about the orders? What should we say to them?"
It was this one question that suddenly made the originally cheerful elderly couple look dejected.
"That's what's troubling us. Director Wang from the commune discussed it with a few leaders and finally decided that they can order a batch from us every two weeks."
