The Xiang couple did indeed take Zhu Qinghao's return very seriously, even though she got off the bus quite early, which is still some time before most people would have dinner.

"And they came all this way back, only to be unable to eat properly, just watching you two bickering, huh?"

At the dinner table, Xiang Zhendong and Zhou Huilan subtly inquired about the Zhu family's situation. They only relaxed after learning that everything was fine and that Wen Chuyi had safely given birth to twins.
