Chapter 31 She Comes from the Future (2/2)

The two chatted for a whole morning. The more they talked, the more Si Tian felt integrated into the conversation, and she rarely mentioned her "dream" without realizing it anymore.

When the two of them returned from having lunch together in the dining car, they found that there were many more people on the train, and the seats next to them were also full.

Judging from their appearance, they are all educated youth sent to the countryside.

Seeing that they were mostly men, Zhu Qinghao didn't want to say much. She simply smiled and greeted them before returning to her seat and closing her eyes to rest.

Si Tian wasn't particularly enthusiastic towards these people. She simply followed suit, greeted them, and then lay down, pretending to be preparing for a nap.

Seeing that the women were unwilling to talk, the men didn't think much of it and, each holding their own bags, leaned back in their seats and began to sleep.

From Kyoto to Anshi, from one morning to the next morning, the train made several stops and the passengers changed several times before Zhu Qinghao and her companions finally arrived at their destination—Anshi Railway Station.

Their seats were close to the door, so as soon as the bus came to a complete stop, the two of them quickly got off the bus with their luggage.

Even though they had prepared themselves on the bus by wearing thick clothes, they were still shivering from the cold after getting off.

"Achoo! It's so cold here! Hey, aren't you cold?"

Si Tian sneezed from the cold as soon as she got out of the car, and then she immediately started checking on Zhu Qinghao's condition.

Zhu Qinghao also felt cold, but perhaps because she had drunk the spiritual spring water, she felt that the cold was still within her tolerance range.

"I'm fine, it's not particularly cold."

Seeing Si Tian shivering from the cold, and unsure when the car to pick them up would arrive, she took out a water bottle from her bag.

"Sweetie, there's hot water inside. Drink some first, don't get cold, or it will be troublesome if you get sick."

Si Tian didn't hesitate. After thanking Zhu Qinghao, she took the water bottle from him, poured some water into her enamel mug, and gulped it down.

Seeing that Zhu Qinghao was looking at her with concern, she quickly finished her drink and wiped her mouth.

"Thank you, I feel much better now. Don't worry, I won't catch a cold."

Zhu Qinghao was indeed a little worried at first, but Si Tian had already drunk her water, which was boiled spiritual spring water, so she had nothing to worry about.

"Okay, let's walk forward a bit and find a sheltered place. We'll come back when the people who are picking us up arrive."

"Okay, let's go to that newsstand. It'll block out the wind, and we can see what's going on here."

As they talked, the two walked toward the newsstand.

To be honest, the wind was much calmer next to the newsstand, even though the air was still quite cold.

Just as the two of them stopped and put their things down, they saw a man and a woman walking towards them.

"Comrades, Nana isn't feeling well and can't stand the cold wind. Could you two please move aside?"

Zhu Qinghao and Si Tian exchanged a glance, neither of them understanding his words. There was so much space; they could stand wherever they wanted, so why should they have to give way?

"It's quite spacious here, you can all stand here and take shelter from the wind together, there's no need for us to give way to you."

"Uh, it's windy outside. Could Nana stand where you are, and you guys stand outside?"
