When Sheng Yi heard her say that, he thought she was joking with him and didn't think much of it because she was not feeling well.
"Okay, we might be able to go back to the team in a while."
Zhu Qinghao was checking the soup in the pot when she heard his words and turned her head in surprise.
She knew that for Sheng Yi to specifically mention it, it couldn't be just a temporary trip back for two days, so it could be ruled out that he was going back specifically for Lu Zheng's matter.

Sheng Yi smiled and pinched Zhu Qinghao's cheek.
"Whose wife is so clever? I only said half of what I wanted to say, and she already guessed the rest. Oh, it's my wife. She's really amazing!"
Zhu Qing chuckled and gently punched him.
"Stop talking nonsense. How long can you actually stay over there?"
Sheng Yi gently grasped his fist, her smile undiminished.
"Three years, maybe two, but at least two years."
The time wasn't exactly short, but for this young couple, it really wasn't much.
Zhu Qinghao silently calculated that it was 1972 now, and if they counted two or three years, it would be 1974 or 1975 before Sheng Yi returned to the military hospital.
If everything goes smoothly, the Zhu family can prepare to leave Hongshan Brigade, so in terms of timing, it seems to be going quite well.
If it takes even longer, like five or ten years, then that would be a real problem.
