He shook his head, convinced that it was all a dream.
As for how to explain his soaked clothes, he couldn't figure it out, so he simply chose to avoid the question.

After the brigade leader returned home, he told Tian Haiying about the incident when she asked him.
Tian Haiying was also concerned about whether Zhu Qinghao and Si Tian had suffered any misfortune last night, so after breakfast she went to their place. After confirming that they were alright, they started gossiping.
Upon hearing the news, they were both very surprised, especially Zhu Qinghao. She knew that Sheng Yi was behind it, but she didn't know how he had done it.
Si Tian, however, had a different focus. She rested her head on her hand, thinking for a long time and muttering to herself.
"Is it really that easy to lose one's memory? Could it be that a different soul has been created? Or is it yet another one?"
Sensing the gazes of Zhu Qinghao and Tian Haiying, she quickly changed her words:
"Oh, I mean, could he really be possessed by an evil spirit?"
He lowered his voice towards the end, but Zhu Qinghao and Tian Haiying still heard him clearly.
Tian Haiying actually agrees with this explanation; otherwise, it would be too illogical for someone to suddenly lose their memory and not even know how they were beaten.
Zhu Qinghao couldn't figure it out for the time being, so she planned to find an opportunity to ask Sheng Yi sometime.
She believed in ghosts and gods, after all, she herself could be reborn, and Si Tian could travel from the future to the present, so it seemed like nothing was impossible.
And did she hear what Si Tian said earlier and switch souls? It doesn't seem impossible.
Moreover, she had another suspicion, because according to Aunt Haiying's account, in the description given by the brigade leader, Chen Hui still seemed to be Chen Hui, and as soon as he regained consciousness, he knew to cause trouble for his roommates, so it was more likely that he had simply lost this part of his memory.
I just don't know how Sheng Yi did it. Was it intentional? Or was it an accident?
With these questions in mind, after seeing Aunt Haiying off, having lunch with Si Tian, and taking a nap, she prepared to go find Sheng Yi to inquire about the situation.
As if by telepathy, she saw Sheng Yi walking towards her as soon as she opened the courtyard gate.
Seemingly finding it quite a coincidence, Zhu Qinghao wore a delighted smile.
"Brother Sheng Yi?"
The visitor seemed to be in a very good mood, with a smile in his eyes.
"Okay, okay, where are you headed?"
"I was just about to look for you, and here you are. Come in quickly, I have something I want to ask you."
Sheng Yi glanced furtively at the hand she was holding, then obediently entered the room and asked gently:
"Is it about Chen Hui from the educated youth settlement?"
Zhu Qinghao was surprised by his accurate guess and nodded quickly.
"Yes, I heard from Aunt Haiying from the brigade leader's family that Chen Hui seems to have lost his memory. What's going on?"
Also, I'd like to know what you did to him last night. Is that alright?
Sheng Yiming felt he couldn't get enough of the person in front of him, but he couldn't openly stare at her. So he had to look away before Zhu Qinghao noticed.
"Why not? Of course you can."
