Xi Ling'er stopped what she was doing and looked at Rong Zi with a puzzled expression.
"What's wrong?"
Rong Zi replied, "We can't take him to the Immortal Alliance yet."
"Why?" Xi Ling'er asked, puzzled.
Rong Zi opened her mouth, then, remembering that Xu Xingzhi was also there, she gestured to Xi Ling'er to wait a moment.
"Wait a moment."
As she spoke, she lowered her head and rummaged through her Hongmeng Ring, pulling out the large iron rod she had used to knock Xu Xingzhi unconscious earlier. She then tossed it in her hand to test its feel.
"There are some things I can't say in front of this guy. I'll talk to you after I've dealt with him."
Rong Zi flexed his wrists, gripped the large iron rod with both hands, and walked toward Xu Xingzhi with a dangerous look in his eyes.
Xu Xingzhi nearly peed his pants in fright, stammering, "Y-you...what do you want to do?"
"Don't come any closer, don't... uh..."
Rong Zi swiftly and decisively struck the man with his stick, knocking him unconscious.
She put the stick away and clapped her hands with a smile.
"Done!"
Xi Ling'er kicked the unconscious Xu Xingzhi away with a disgusted kick, and then patiently asked Rong Zi.
"Can we talk about it now?"
"Wait a little longer." Rong Zi turned around, waved in one direction, and called out, "Disciples, you can come out now!"
