"I'm becoming more and more interested in this 'mythical beast'."
As they spoke, the pride of lions gradually slowed down.
Finally, they stopped at a towering cliff and let out an incredibly domineering roar towards the bottom of the cliff.
Rong Zi and his disciples, who were on the lion's back, looked down at the bottom of the cliff at the same time.
However, upon seeing the scene at the bottom of the cliff, their eyes widened, and a look of shock flashed across their faces.
Xi Ling'er raised her hand and exclaimed, "My God, this...this is too shocking!"
What did they see?
There, on the open ground at the bottom of the cliff, stood a densely packed number of demonic beasts.
These monsters vary greatly in type and level.
There are even rivals and natural enemies.
These two people, who would normally start a fight the moment they meet, are now standing together so calmly...
Gu Xiaochui said blankly, "Could it be that all the demonic beasts in this Immortal Treasure Realm are here?"
Qi Yufei replied, "There's no doubt about it, that's absolutely true."
Yun Jing scratched his head, puzzled, and asked, "But why are they gathered here? Was it some kind of divine beast that summoned them? Is it some kind of grand meeting?"
Faced with this situation, everyone was completely bewildered.
Rong Zi looked down at the demonic beasts, patted the red-eyed snow lion beneath him, and asked, "Is this the place you brought us to?"
The red-eyed snow lion beneath him nodded.
Just then, Rong Zi heard that voice again.
"Immortal Emperor..."
This time, Rong Zi was able to pinpoint exactly where the sound was coming from.
She looked down at the cliff below.
If she wasn't mistaken, the sound was coming from below.
Is someone below this cliff?
Or is this sound actually coming from that so-called 'divine beast'?
Just as Rong Zi was wondering, the red-eyed snow lions beneath her suddenly leaped up, carrying her and her apprentice directly off the cliff, landing on the ground below like dumplings being dropped into a pot.
They jumped so suddenly that Rong Zi and his disciples were startled and almost fell down.
After landing, Rong Zi patted his chest with lingering fear and looked down at the red-eyed snow lion beneath him, saying, "Why didn't you tell me you were going to jump? You scared me half to death."
Xu Chi, having seen something, suddenly grabbed her sleeve excitedly.
"Master...Master."
Rong Zi turned to look at him, "What's wrong?"
Xu Chi pointed in the direction of the cliff and said, "Look there!"
Even though he was usually slow, he moved faster, which shows just how shocked he was by what he saw.
Rong Zi looked in the direction he was pointing.
Upon seeing the scene before her, she couldn't help but freeze in shock.
In front of us, there was a huge stone gate on the cliff face, and on either side of the gate stood two familiar stone sculptures, each as tall as half a small hill.
Not only Rong Zi, but Yun Jing and the others were also a little stunned.
Yun Jing stared blankly at the stone sculptures in front of him and asked, "Why do these two stone sculptures look so much like Cai Niu?"
That's right.
The two stone sculptures in front of me look exactly like Cai Niu.
However, these two stone sculptures are clearly more fully evolved than Cai Niu, and they look much taller and more imposing in appearance and temperament.
Could this be... the divine beast that the red-eyed snow lion spoke of?
Rong Zi stared at the two stone sculptures for a long time without saying a word.
For some reason, looking at the stone sculpture in front of her, she felt an inexplicable sadness welling up inside her.
Feeling a tightness in her chest and with her uncontrollable spiritual energy becoming increasingly restless, Rong Zi closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
However, at that moment, she suddenly felt a sharp headache.
Rong Zi frowned and pressed his hand to his head.
The next instant, an unfamiliar image flashed through her mind without warning.
A woman, her body as red as blood, stood alone amidst a vast army. The combined attack of the ten thousand men caused the entire earth to tremble, so powerful that it was almost capable of destroying the heavens and the earth.
In that split second, a Xuanhuo Turtle that looked similar to Cai Niu but was much larger suddenly rushed out, using its body to firmly protect the woman beneath it, and taking all the attacks alone.
Along with an even more intense headache, the images in Rong Zi's mind suddenly became blurry.
Amidst the crimson expanse, all she could see was a tortoise shell shattered into pieces…
"Master!"
"Master!"
The sudden shouts brought Rong Zi back to her senses.
She covered her throbbing head with one hand and slowly raised it, only to be met with the worried eyes of Yun Jing and the other seven.
Seeing that Rong Zi finally responded, Yun Jing and the others' eyes lit up and they asked urgently.
"Master, are you alright? Are you feeling unwell?"
After a moment, Rong Zi shook her head and replied, "I'm fine."
As she spoke, she glanced at the two stone sculptures in front of her, her eyes filled with melancholy.
What exactly happened in what just happened?
Is it a memory?
If so, whose memory is it?
Why is Cai Niu in there?
"Are you really okay? You look terrible." Gu Xiaochui asked anxiously.
The others also stared intently at Rong Zi, their faces filled with worry.
They were terrified.
For some reason, their master suddenly clutched his head in pain and couldn't even keep his balance, falling off the red-eyed snow lion's back.
