After the shadowy figure left, Wei Dashan arrived at a hidden cave.
However, just as he reached the entrance of the cave, a skeleton that looked like a human was suddenly thrown out and landed right at his feet.
Kui Dashan looked down.
Upon seeing the 'person' at his feet with its mouth wide open, its entire face sunken, and a pile of bones wrapped under its wrinkled skin, he moved aside with disgust.
He bypassed the objects on the ground and entered the cave. When Wei Dashan looked up, he immediately saw someone sitting cross-legged in the shadows.
The person looked like they had just finished cultivating.
His cultivation level doesn't seem to be very high; he's only at the Void Refinement stage.
However, the energy surrounding this person was rather strange. It didn't seem like demonic energy or spiritual energy, but rather a combination of the two, appearing murky and chaotic.
Wei Dashan did not approach, but stood at a distance and called out to the other party.
How are you feeling?
Upon hearing his voice, the man slowly raised his head, his reddish-brown eyes reflecting a longing for something.
His lips twitched, and the man said something in a hoarse voice.
"not enough."
Although the voice sounded like it had half a pound of sand in it, it was still vaguely discernible that it was a woman's voice.
Kui Dashan didn't understand what she meant and was slightly taken aback.
"What?"
“These things.” The woman raised a hand covered in black patterns, even her fingernails were black, grabbed a skull beside her, and threw it in front of Wei Dashan.
The force was so great that it almost hit the instep of his foot.
The woman pointed at the skull and continued, "Not enough, I need more, the more the better."
As the skull hurtled towards him, Wei Dashan's face darkened, and he nearly jumped up.
"Do you think these things are easy to get? Our people took great risks to get them."
The woman hesitated for a moment, then suddenly got up and walked out.
"In that case, I can do it myself."
Upon seeing this, Wei Dashan quickly stepped forward to stop her.
"stop!"
The woman looked at him.
Kui Dashan: "You don't need to get involved. You just need to focus on your cultivation. Leave everything else to us. Don't worry, we will provide you with at least twice the amount in the future."
...
Rongling Sect.
Ever since Jun Moyao told Rong Zi that her seven disciples would go out and train on their own, Rong Zi has locked herself up and spends her days tinkering with something, making a lot of noise.
In the courtyard.
Ning Lingling, bored, idly traced patterns on the ground with her large sword, then tilted her head and asked her six senior brothers and sisters around her.
"It won't be long before we leave our master to go out and train on our own. How are you all feeling right now?"
Upon hearing this, the group exchanged bewildered glances.
"Of course..." they drawled, then said in unison, "We're so happy!"
Finally, I don't have to try Master's strange pills and talismans anymore!
They were so happy!
Yun Jing held his suona in his hand, carefully wiping it with a damp cloth, his voice filled with emotion.
"This is my first time going out for training alone."
Besides burying oneself in cultivation, spiritual practice also requires navigating the human world alone, comprehending various Taoist principles, and experiencing different methods of cultivation.
He also wanted to see what he would gain when he went out to train alone.
Gu Xiaochui looked at Yun Jing and asked curiously, "Where exactly did you go for your first training session?"
Yun Jing shook her head. "I don't know yet. We'll just have to see where things take us."
“My master said that my first stop is the Shuiyuan Sect. I will stay there for a while before I can go anywhere else.”
Rong Zi and Shui Qingyue had already discussed it during the competition.
Sending Gu Xiaochui to the Shuiyuan Sect to study... Pshaw! It should be sending him to the Shuiyuan Sect to assist Shui Qingyue and do something like that.
It's not that I want to steal their Water Yuan Sect's weapon-refining secrets or anything like that.
Qi Yufei put his arm around Gu Xiaochui's neck and said, "I'll come visit you at the Shuiyuan Sect when I have the chance."
He is not yet sure where he should go.
Before he joined Rongling Sect, he always trained alone outside.
Therefore, going out to train alone is not something new or exciting for him.
Qi Yufei looked at Ling Mo beside him and asked, "By the way, where's Third Senior Brother? Where are you planning to go?"
Ling Mo: "Demon race."
Upon hearing his words, everyone present turned to look at him, their faces filled with shock.
"What? Demons?"
Is that what they meant?
Gu Xiaochui opened his eyes wide, and asked hesitantly, "You mean, you're going to the Demon Realm for training?"
Ling Mo nodded calmly.
"Um."
Upon hearing the accurate answer, the others all gasped in shock.
Qi Yufei asked, "Are you serious?"
Those are demons!
The demons have always regarded the human race as a thorn in their side, and wish they could take their lives at any time!
If the third senior brother, being a human, were to go to the demon realm alone, wouldn't that be like a lamb entering a tiger's den, courting death?
Ling Mo replied, "Seriously."
His tone remained calm and even.
Xi Ling'er thought of a possibility, "Third Senior Brother, you wouldn't be seeking revenge against the Demon Clan because of what happened back then, would you...?"
