With trembling fingers, Qin Ziteng removed the sunflower seed shell stuck to his forehead.
Seeing that Rong Zi's saliva was still on it, he almost choked. In a fit of rage, he drew his sword and leaped out of the windowsill, the tip of the sword aimed directly at Rong Zi's face.
"Rong Zi, I'll kill you!"
Rong Zi leaned back lazily in her chair, cracking sunflower seeds as she casually remarked.
"security guard!"
Two Nascent Soul stage guards rushed to Rong Zi's side, each grabbing one of Qin Ziteng's arms and easily throwing him away.
"If Fellow Daoist Qin causes trouble again, we will have no choice but to take coercive measures against you."
Qin Ziteng stumbled and fell below the auction stage on the first floor.
He barely managed to steady himself, trembling with rage. "Do you people at the auction house have any sense of reason? It's clearly Rong Zi's fault, so why aren't you doing anything about her?"
Rong Zi tilted her head with an innocent expression.
"You can't just accuse people because of your status! What did I do wrong? Was it that I didn't just hand over the Crimson Flame Fruit to your junior sister when she tried to take it from me, or that I lost to you during the auction according to the rules?"
Qin Ziteng was so angry that his head was practically steaming.
"You didn't just lose to me, you clearly made a killing."
Rong Zi nodded with a smile, "I still have to thank you for your generosity~"
Qin Ziteng: "..."
How can there be such infuriating people in the world?
Unable to win the argument with Rong Zi on this point, Qin Ziteng could only change the subject and question her, "You said that it was my junior sister who stole your Crimson Flame Fruit in the Monster Forest, do you have any evidence?"

Seeing her three senior brothers rendered speechless by Rong Zi's words, Yun Qin stood by the window, one hand behind her back, her head held high with an air of aloofness and arrogance.

Just then, an angry voice suddenly rang out from the entrance of the auction house.
"Pah! What do you mean 'the innocent are innocent'? I've never seen such a despicable person who twists right and wrong like you in all my life!"
The people present were enjoying their melon-eating when they suddenly heard this voice, and they all turned to look in the direction from which the sound came.
Rong Zi raised an eyebrow and looked down at the entrance to the auction house.
Zhu Haohao was followed by four senior female students who walked in with angry expressions.
Qin Ziteng, who was closest to him, said coldly, "It's you? The one who was with Rong Zi in the Monster Forest?"
Zhu Haohao had already spotted Rong Zi sitting on the second floor. His eyes lit up, and he hurried over, then impatiently shoved Qin Ziteng, who was blocking his way.
"Get out of the way!"
Qin Ziteng was caught off guard and was pushed so hard that he stumbled. He didn't expect that the man would dare to attack him.
