Rong Zi's heart skipped a beat, and she slammed the door shut with almost the fastest speed she had ever used.
Good heavens, she almost ruined my ears.
Rong Zi rubbed his ringing ears, stood at the door for a while to catch his breath, and then silently took out a deafness talisman and stuck it on his body.
Once she was sure she really couldn't hear anything anymore, she took a deep breath and carefully pushed open Yun Jing's door again.
Yun Jing, with her small frame facing away from the doorway, sat cross-legged.
He held the suona in both hands and was playing it with great enthusiasm.
Rong Zi glanced at the several soundproofing labels pasted on the walls and door inside the room, and stepped inside.
Thank goodness for these soundproofing notes.
Otherwise, once Yun Jing unleashed that deadly soul-reaping sound, there probably wouldn't be any living creature left within several miles of their Rongling Sect...
Rong Zi walked up behind Yun Jing, bent down and patted him on the shoulder.
"Cloudscape".
Yun Jing paused in his playing and turned to look at Rong Zi.
When Rong Zi saw his face, she froze, her voice cracking with shock, "What the hell is going on?"
At this moment, Yun Jing's small face was gloomy and sullen.
His eyes were dark and lifeless, giving him the appearance of someone who had lost their mind.
When Rong Zi asked her question, Yun Jing merely raised her eyelids listlessly and ignored her.
As if controlled by something, he turned his head again, put the suona to his lips, and began to play it with a look of rapture, oblivious to everyone around him.
The way he spoke made it seem as if what came out of his mouth wasn't some horrible, maddening sound that made you want to bang your head against a wall, but rather an incomparably beautiful celestial melody.
Although Rong Zi couldn't hear anything.
But she knew that something was very wrong with Yun Jing right now.
She quickly stepped forward and squatted down in front of Yun Jing, then grabbed the suona in his hand, stopping him from continuing to play.
"Yun Jing! Stop it, stop blowing!"
But Yun Jing seemed not to hear Rong Zi's voice at all, stubbornly raising her arm and insisting on putting the suona to her lips.
Rong Zi looked into his eyes and saw that they were dark and empty, devoid of any of their usual liveliness. She frowned slightly.
Seeing that she couldn't wake Yun Jing, she hesitated for a moment, then suddenly snatched the suona from his hand.
Once Rong Zi was certain that Yun Jing no longer had the tools to harm her ears, she tore off the deafness talisman that was stuck to her body.
When the suona was taken away, Yun Jing, who had been quiet, suddenly became agitated.
He staggered to his feet, stretching out his hands like a vengeful ghost, his eyes fixed on Rong Zi in front of him, and spoke in a hoarse voice.
"Give me back my suona!"
Rong Zi stared at the bizarre scene before him, and the hairs on his body practically stood on end.
It's only been ten days since we last saw each other.
How did her adorable and well-behaved apprentice turn into this?
Rong Zi stood up and quickly took two steps back, slinging the suona behind her back. "I won't give it back."
Although she was still unsure what was going on.
But Rong Zi felt that Yun Jing's current situation must be related to the suona in her hand.
Unable to see the suona horn, Yun Jing's expression grew even more anxious.
He stared at Rong Zi with a sinister look in his eyes, "If you don't pay me back... I'll beat you up."
As soon as he finished speaking, Yun Jing gathered lightning in his hand and struck her without saying another word.
Rong Zi was startled for a moment and quickly dodged to the side.
However, the two were too close, and even though she dodged very quickly, she was still struck directly on the head by a bolt of lightning.
In an instant, smoke billowed from Rong Zi's head, and even his hair stood on end from the blow.
She felt a tingling sensation all over her body, and her body shuddered as if she had been electrocuted.
"Holy crap, look closely, I'm your master!"
Yun Jing seemed to completely misunderstand Rong Zi's words, and attacked without hesitation, sending several more bolts of lightning towards her.
While chopping, he persistently shouted, "Give me back my suona!"
Rong Zi: "..."
Looking at Yun Jing's small frame, Rong Zi couldn't bring herself to fight back and could only flee and hide in a sorry state as she tried to escape the room.
She was frantically dodging Yun Jing's attacks when Dandan, who had just looked in the mirror, suddenly hopped over.
Upon seeing Rong Zi, it raised its voice angrily, "Rong Zi! How dare you draw such an ugly expression on my eggshell? I'm telling you, you'd better wipe it off right now, or I'll..."
Before Egg could finish speaking, a foot came crashing down on it like a mountain pressing down on it.
Rong Zi stepped on it.
The next second, two screams of pain rang out in the air.
"ah……"
"It hurts, it hurts..."
Rong Zi was so hurt by the egg that tears were about to stream down her face. She hugged her foot and hopped around like a one-legged hero.
The egg rolled around on the ground a few times, and it was almost about to explode.
I'm so angry!
Not only did she scribble all over his eggshell, but she even stepped on it with her stinky little feet?!
Egg is furious!
The boiled egg turned into a fried egg!
Egg leaped into the air and charged fiercely towards Rong Zi, shouting, "Rong Zi! You..."
But just as it rushed in front of Rong Zi, a bolt of lightning suddenly struck its eggshell without warning.
After a series of crackling sounds and flashes of sparks...
The eggshell, which was originally golden, was shattered into a black, charred mess.
Egg: "..."
Upon seeing it, Rong Zi endured the pain in the soles of her feet and reached out to grab it.
