Chapter 000 Ending Remarks
This book is the most successful one I have written in more than a year. It is not perfect, but it is the most perfect one I can create at the moment.
The starting point of this book is that I thought of a sentence, "I save myself" on the eve of my 24th birthday.
I want to use my own way of thinking to interpret a self-rescue in the form of book-traveling and fantasy.
So there is the name Lin Du, which means to save others and save oneself.
I created her life experience. She has a difficult life and has struggled to survive in a world that values men over women. She was once influenced by secular concepts and tried to seek love to fill the vacancy of no one in the growth process. But she finally woke up when she lost her meaning and saved others to redeem herself. That is, an emotional blogger, saving the love brain, and thus the hybrid was born.
But as I began to shape the story, the world of this story revealed a vast, real, and vivid spectacle, which allowed me to create many plots and reveal many things.
There are actually many things I want to explain. I repeatedly read many Taoist books and some simple Buddhist scriptures, collected information, and perfected my own story. Thus, this Dongming Realm, this Supreme Sect, and many people were born.
I want to create a righteous path. There may be conflicts of interest and individual plots, but when facing a powerful enemy, every monk and every person in the righteous path, in their instinctive education, chooses not to be self-sufficient, but to be in the same boat; I want to create a villain with his own system and inner pain, a tragedy that is not entirely personal, but a tragedy of the times and the world.
Lin Du had nothing when she came here, but she gained little by little through the way of helping others, the role of "mother" and the role of "father", many elders who guided her, loved her unconditionally, protected her, and taught her, as well as younger generations whom she worried about and wanted to guide, many friends whom she could trust, a confidant who was on the same journey with her, and completely healthy relationships without burdens. Thus, a big family of cultivation was born.
Lin Du has gained healthy, stable and satisfactory relationships on the road through growth and a grand plot. She has also changed from being wary and afraid of getting close and reuniting, preferring to make it a transaction and not owe each other anything, to being able to accept the help and gifts of relatives, friends and teachers calmly, because she knows that she can accept those kindnesses without thinking about the cause and effect and human feelings behind them.
She must learn to be calm, find her original intention, establish a heart of Taoism, complete the four sentences of Hengqu, bring the thoughts she learned in modern times, integrate the Taoism she learned, and learn to accept separation, regrets, imperfections, as well as death and sacrifice.
She will cultivate her own perfection from imperfections, from career to character and life. This is what I think is the growth story of a heroine. I think I have probably done it in this regard.
The author's most written work must inevitably carry her current worldview. At first, I wanted Lin Du to live alone, so I had to force myself to be extreme, excellent, better than boys, and live alone, so the image was more independent, neutral, and inviolable. After a lot of archaeology of the image of the cultivation world, I chose the simplest modern Taoist image, which was simple and in line with her modern concept.
In fact, I subconsciously projected my self-protection concept at that time onto her, and now my way of self-protection is to learn Muay Thai, instead of dressing relatively neutrally, changing the image into strengthening strength. This is the awakening after several knocks on the door and stalking in the single apartment. I want to become strong and have the ability to protect myself with fists, instead of feminization and preparing those electric saws that may not be raised in time. People cannot stand at the height of today to criticize themselves at that time.
I love people with a sense of youth, but it was not until this book was first published that many people unexpectedly saw it and pointed out the controversy of the word "boy". I realized that this is a controversial point. In
my personal experience and the language I usually use, boyhood includes boys and girls, just like children include men and women.
But everyone's experience and the concept system they form are different.
I opened this book to practice writing group portraits, so at the beginning, I was not invested enough in each character, and the focus was different when writing.
I want to describe different women, so I describe them in a different way and use different pronouns. Although I try not to let Lin Du use dad-related vocabulary, my unconscious misogyny that has been ingrained in the secular world will be exposed when I describe them. I want my heroine to be unique and have a stronger youthfulness. She is my most beloved and precious product. It is undeniable that my writing style does have shortcomings, and I will unconsciously compromise with the secular world to gain readability. I am also constantly reflecting on and accepting corrections.
But I still think that the word "juvenile" can be used by women, and I don't just think that Lin Du is the only juvenile in the text. Juvenility is one of her characteristics, but her greater characteristic is her gentleness and generosity under her coldness and loneliness, and her empathy and sensitivity as a woman, so I don't think she is ambiguous in gender, and the word "holy mother" is not a derogatory word. Saving the world and saving people is the culture and cohesion of our nation.
The world of cultivation itself is a world where power levels are constructed by strength, so there is no difference in essence between genders. You can find many wise, powerful, and colorful women who walk their own paths in the book. This is what I tend to express. The image of women is diverse, not limited, and each has its own world. They are evergreen trees and the top of the peak, with infinite possibilities.
My ideas are always advancing in learning. Maybe I will find more flaws in my past self in the future, but I still love what I created.
Another controversial point is the CP issue. I always believe that Du Wei is a spiritual resonance and a fellow traveler in an absolute sense. I want to try to create a normal emotional relationship that is restrained but spiritually compatible. The core of the article is not about emotions, so I don’t write much, all for the plot.
My only talent as an author is that I love the characters and world I created. The story plot and expression may have flaws, but I love them sincerely and wholeheartedly, and believe that they were born in my spiritual world and have independently become a parallel universe loved by many people.
Eight months is not a long time, but it has allowed me to grow up slowly. As the plot of this group portrait practice progressed, I began to invest more love and effort in the supporting characters. My attention, from eating, sleeping, walking and laughing, only thought about the plot related to the protagonist, and began to think more about the plot of the supporting characters, so they became richer.
I am very grateful, grateful that I insisted on my own ideas and did not modify any of the established outlines and plots, but I am more grateful to the readers along the way. Without your support, I would not have such a firm will to persist in creating my story.
This is indeed an ordinary online article, a snack, but I also tried to at least become a snack with some nutritional value. I hope you enjoy it. If it suits your taste, then I will be very satisfied.
I will not stop writing and creating. I hope that next time we meet again, I will be a better me.
Finally, I wish you all good luck and a beautiful journey.
