Chapter 415 I mean, my world, all for her
The days passed by little by little, and the trees on both sides of the library were always green.
There was always a figure sitting by the window, day after day.
Chu Guanmeng looked at the ink stick that had been used up again, and couldn't help but mutter, "When will that monk come again? The ink stick I gave her a year ago is almost worn out." But
Lin Du had no time to be distracted. She didn't care about getting the ink dirty, and kept writing until the ink dried up and only left the dragging traces. Then she put down the pen and stood up suddenly.
The two sides of the table were piled with books, most of which were not in the language of Zhongzhou. Lin Du mastered Yunmo Luo's language thoroughly in just three months, and then repeatedly read most of the Buddhist scriptures and materials that she asked Wei Zhi to find for her. Relying on the words on the jade slip, he pieced together and calculated nearly thousands of pieces of waste paper.
This was not the first time that Lin Du drew a formation based on words alone.
In her two lifetimes, she had calculated countless formations, and Yan Ye had arranged many strange and incomplete formations for her, but none of them had the formation with only 149 words on the jade slip that made her repeatedly deduce for such a long time.
That was not a Taoist formation.
It was a Buddhist formation.
The name of that formation, directly according to the text, can be translated as extinction.
Eliminate the three delusions and transcend life and death.
Later in the world, people called those two words Nirvana, and there is also a saying that it is nirvana.
"I'm done."
The moment she stood up, the accumulated and scattered drafts were swept up by the wind and floated into the air.
Lin Du reached out and grabbed them, "Let's go and find Wei Zhi."
Mao Tuan, who was still bored, suddenly stood up and widened his eyes, "You are finally going to find him? There are only three bottles of wine left at home."
"That's because you drank secretly. I drink a glass before going to bed every day, and you drink a basin. He almost emptied the Tantric wine cellar." Lin Du used his spiritual power to put things back in place and began to carefully organize the array of stones.
Weigh, cut, shape, classify, and place them separately.
Chu Guanmeng commented, "This is the most accurate I've ever seen you do."
"I didn't want to, but he gave too much." Lin Du responded sincerely, "This can't be wrong, there's only one life, I don't care, but he's a big customer."
Chu Guanmeng scanned Lin Du's storage ring with his spiritual sense, and said with deep emotion, "Don't tell me, don't tell me, the things that the monk has moved here over the past year account for almost half of it, not counting the ones that have been used and the strange spiritual plants placed in the sect."
Lin Du confirmed that the things were ready, and went to take the bodyguard out.
The city where the Yunmo Luo Secret Sect is located is not large compared to Zhongzhou Dingjiu City, but once you step into it, you will feel that it is crowded with people.
Hou Cang followed Lin Du with his arms folded, mumbling, "You've only recovered for a few days, why did you have to come to Yunmo Luo?"
"Friendly reminder, I've been well for three months." Lin Du said.
"Excuse me, because you went to the library to read every day, you didn't recover well, and your qi was stagnant. You were delayed for another month before you were allowed to use your spiritual consciousness. As soon as you were able to use your spiritual consciousness, you kept calculating." Hou Cang spoke very quickly, "Is there anyone who recovers like this?"
"Yes, it's me." Lin Du looked at the people coming and going, and his eyes fell on the back of the pilgrim.
It was a family of all ages, with an elderly woman and two little girls wearing a gray apron around her waist. The woman bowed every three steps, prostrating herself devoutly, her head covered with dust. The two little girls walked behind them, dragging a wooden cart on which were piled all their belongings. They
were probably on their way to the center of the Tantric Buddhism for pilgrimage, and the small wooden cart was their home.
The little girl turned around and saw two people who looked out of place in the surrounding clothing. Her dark eyes stared at them, and when Lin Du smiled, she also grinned and smiled back. Her face was dark and shiny, and her teeth were white.
In front of this family, there were a few scattered ascetics, who were ragged, unkempt, barefoot, and kneeling for pilgrimage.
The ascetics of Yunmo Luo often choose Tantric Buddhism as their final destination, and they make pilgrimages to all eight major sects.
"What do you think they are seeking?" Lin Du suddenly asked. Hou Cang
was stunned for a moment. "Austerity is their practice, refining the body and the mind?"
Hou Cang waited for Lin Du to look away before asking, "Why do they have to come here?"
"Because Wei Zhi has not appeared for ten days, the seal has been opened." Lin Du looked at the Tantric Buddhism on the high ground in the distance. There were white pagodas standing in rows, surrounded by densely packed huts, and the high ground was particularly spectacular.
A bell rang at this moment.
Hou Cang understood that the seal of the demonic energy had been opened, and the Buddhist cultivator who had appeared in the sect almost every few days in the past year had not come.
The implication was self-evident—Wei Zhi was detained.
The two arrived in front of the Tantric Sect and showed the token of the Supreme Sect. The Buddhist monk who was guarding the gate hurriedly reported to the higher authorities.
At this time, the ascetic monk arrived on the top of the mountain, in front of the Buddhist gate.
Someone asked him, "What do you want to achieve through this ascetic practice?"
The man performed a Buddhist salute and slowly opened his voice, his voice hoarse, "Amitabha, may you be safe and healthy."
Lin Du was welcomed here and looked at the ascetic monk for a moment.
The man's eyes were dark and bright. After seeing Lin Du's dress, he saluted again.
Lin Du raised his hand and returned a salute.
Hou Cang suddenly couldn't tell what he felt. He fell behind a step and watched the figures of Lin Du and the ascetic monk intertwine. One was still going up, and the other had already reached the end.
He suddenly turned around and took another look at the densely packed crowd at the foot of the mountain.
The two sentences that Lin Du had said suddenly rang in his ears.
"I am willing."
"I don't regret it."
His heart was shaken, and he suddenly remembered the look in
Lin Tuan's eyes when he first met him. He once thought it was a unique pity, but now when he thinks about it again, it is just like the look in the eyes of the ascetic monk and Lin Du when they lowered their eyes to look at the crowd.
Calm, heavy, and vast like the sea.
Hou Cang suddenly lowered his head, and the heavy thing that was pressing on his heart turned into water vapor in the blink of an eye.
It turned out that he had made a mistake from the beginning.
Cang Sheng...
Cangli was also an orphan picked up by Lin Tuan and was named Cangli.
Cangli, Cangsheng is like Lili plants, flourishing with vitality.
And he himself, Hou Cang, Hou Tu Cangsheng, Hou Tu carries Cangsheng.
It turns out... he is not Cangli's later disciple, but Cangsheng carried by Hou Tu.
Hou Cang used to think that Lin Tuan only gave an explanation when he questioned him, but it was not true.
It turned out that Lin Tuan had told him a long time ago.
She never favored anyone, she always loved everyone equally.
But he used to hate this deeply and tried hard to occupy her eyes, but now he inexplicably thinks that a saint should be like this.
"Senior brother?" Lin Du turned around and woke up Hou Cang.
Hou Cang looked up and met Lin Du's concerned and suspicious eyes, "Oh, I'm looking at the terrain."
In case of a robbery, she could see an escape route map.
Lin Du waved her hand, and Hou Cang walked to her side with big strides, "Yeah?"
"Brother, don't worry, they are respectfully inviting us in now, and will respectfully present us with a great gift later, asking us to release Wei Zhi."
Lin Du said this with telepathy.
Hou Cang's eyes widened, "Yeah???"
As expected, after the Tantric Buddhist monks invited them in, Lin Du got straight to the point, "I have a way to convince Wei Zhi to feed the demon with his body." The monk
who came to entertain the guests trembled slightly as he served tea, "Ah?"
How did they know if they were not monks from the Supreme Sect? Do the people from the Supreme Sect have such a wide range of business?
"Yes." Lin Du's eyes were calm and firm.
"Then, benefactor, what can you do?" the master asked carefully.
"I am a professional in persuading people. Although I have not participated in any of the seminars, I am really good at speaking."
The master did not believe it. He thought that the people from the Supreme Sect were here to mess things up.
Lin Du said, "It doesn't matter whether you believe it or not, but do you have any other way? Can you tie him up by force? He has become a golden body and was once the third on the Chongxiao list. As long as he fights hard and fights to the death, there will be no second Buddhist in this world."
She sat in her seat calmly, and every word fell into the black wood hall, "He is alone, you don't know what he is concerned about, what his weaknesses are, you don't know where to start with benefits, and morality cannot be shaken."
"But now, I'm here."
"There is only one me, you can choose not to believe it, but you can only believe it."
These words, let alone the mages and Buddhists present, even Hou Cang was stunned.
How could he not see that Lin Du was still holding Wei Zhi's weak spot and was Wei Zhi's last concern?
The master was silent for a long time, and put the tea on the table next to Lin Du.
"You are right, I grew up with him, but I don't know what he wants."
"He is born with Buddha bones, born with knowledge, he can remember the scriptures after reading them once, thousands of scriptures, he can remember them after reading them once, at the age of seven, every word is pearl, he can explain the Buddha's meaning, and he is the only one who can argue about the eight sects."
"No one thought that he would become the evil monk you are talking about, who would swallow dragons to cultivate golden bodies, burn his own meditation room, leave the sect and travel, and no one could catch him."
"He seems to understand everything, but he just doesn't understand his destiny, the mysteries of Buddhist practice, and the great compassion to save all living beings. You said he explained it clearly, so why doesn't he understand it himself?"
The master said with a bitter smile, "If you are a Buddhist, he should have understood it long ago and should save all living beings from suffering, but he just doesn't understand it. If you don't understand, are you still a Buddhist?"
Lin Du lowered his eyes, "Have you ever heard a saying? "It's unkind to others, but it doesn't matter to yourself, right?" [Note 1]
The master shook his head, put his hands together, and chanted a Buddhist verse, "If I had Buddha bones, I would feed the evil spirits with my body."
Lin Du smiled, "So you don't understand."
She stood up, her eyes pressed down on the other party, "Wei Zhi, originally meant Lou Wei Zhi. The Lou royal family wants to stop the national crisis, and you Buddhists also want to stop the world crisis, but both of you are pinning your hopes on one person."
"Do you really think that one person can save all sentient beings?"
Lin Du smiled. "Do you think that the things you think are natural are really reasonable? All sentient beings have attachments. If you don't have them, you would have become a Buddha now. He is just a son of Buddha, not Buddha. Why shouldn't he have attachments?" "If one
is trapped by attachments, fails to be fully enlightened, and cannot be reborn in the Pure Land, then he does not have great wisdom, so how can he be a son of Buddha?" The master clasped his hands together and lowered his eyes and replied.
Lin Du shook his head, "So it's still the fundamental problem. He is the one you all are looking forward to, the one who jumped down to the source of the evil spirit and completely sealed the evil spirit. You can only hope that he can save sentient beings. I can let him let go of his obsession."
"Not everyone in this world should accept their mission."
"His obsession is not his mission at all. It's a question of whether he has the right to choose independently."
"It's not that he should, he wants to, but that he is willing."
The master finally had no excuse, "Master Lin Du is really eloquent, but I don't know, did the master come here for the sake of all sentient beings in the world?"
Lin Du finally laughed, "Master, it is true that it is for the sake of all sentient beings, but there are no free lobbyists in the world."
The master couldn't help but say, "Donor, this is the pure land of Buddhism."
"Buddhist Pure Land, I don't talk about money, I talk about fate." Lin Du took it naturally.
"How heavy is the fate between Wei Zhi and I? Then to sever this fate, I should throw something heavy, right?"
"After all, I charge for my work so as not to get involved in cause and effect with you." Lin Du's eyebrows were clear and he looked very convincing.
The master understood that it was true.
Being responsible for helping people to reincarnate has always been easy to get entangled in cause and effect, so the fee is not cheap, and the fee is considered the end of a transaction.
Hou Cang suddenly realized at this time that Lin Du came to ask for money.
Lin Du finally met Wei Zhi.
Before entering the meditation room, Lin Du noticed the powerful prohibition.
The Tantric Buddhism is still afraid of him.
No one is not afraid of a madman who has no weaknesses.
Madmen have no scruples and are the most willing to take risks.
Wei Zhi was sitting upright on a cushion. Next to him was a man in a red cassock, chanting something to him. Behind him was a Buddhist monk in a yellow monk's robe, beating a wooden fish and chanting sutras in a low voice.
The man was sitting in the middle, wearing a jade-colored cassock. He was thin and tall, with his eyes downcast, and he was motionless, like a flower hanging on a cliff covered with frost, and he was out of tune with this warm-colored world.
"Wei Zhi." Lin Du's voice broke through the chanting, very abrupt.
Wei Zhi raised his eyes and looked at Lin Du. The sunlight outside the house sank into the house, illuminating his amber eyes.
The Buddhist son slowly raised his hands, which had not been raised for seven days. He put his hands together in front of his chest and nodded slightly, "Master Lin Du." At
that moment, the abbot of the Tantric Buddhism suddenly saw that the dust followed the beam of light and fell on the Buddhist son's jade-colored monk's robe. The tranquility was gone.
In the path of the beam of light, there stood a man in green clothes, with white hair and grey eyes, like a snow-covered mountain. He was clearly a Taoist monk, but he was full of Zen.
"I promise you." Wei Zhi said, "I promise you, I will seal the source of the evil spirit with my body."
Before the abbot could answer, he heard Wei Zhi continue to speak, "But I have a request."
"Over the years, the Tantric Buddhism has prospered because of me, with countless donations of money and believers."
"I have preached sutras for you, chanted, and saved you, time and time again, one person after another."
"Now I have to save sentient beings."
He spoke gently, like water flowing down from a snowy mountain, flowing quietly over rocks, almost without a sound, but stirring up a river in the hearts of several others.
"But I still have one unfulfilled wish."
"That obsession is only attached to one person, and now I can only end it with something."
"Please give her all my belongings, including all the seven treasures in my meditation room, the pond of carp and lotus flowers that I have raised since I was a child, and the forest behind the house that I have maintained since I was a child."
"I mean, I want to give her the world I once owned."
The abbot was stunned for a moment, and then said, "Okay."
The Buddhist monk behind the abbot was also stunned. The quality of the things in this meditation room is amazing. There are even gifts from the other seven Buddhist sects, and the quantity is not small. The lotus is a sacred object in the sect, and it is often beside it. The enlightenment pond is also a top-level spiritual pond. The forest behind is also full of extremely rare exotic flowers and plants, and there are thousands of years of trees. They are very spiritual and rich in heavenly spiritual plants.
This price... is it too high?
But the abbot has already agreed, so there is no reason to regret it.
Hou Cang saw this and understood it completely.
Lin Du and Wei Zhi are acting against each other here, trying to get the best of both worlds. One says that money can determine cause and effect, and the other says that objects can determine thoughts. They are really amazing and well-founded.
He sighed, people still have to know how to talk.
The little junior sister must have known that her sect had distributed a large amount of talismans, elixirs and defensive instruments for free in order to save people on the border, and that the materials in her sect's internal treasury had been visibly used up, so she came to the Buddhist sect to make some money.
She is worthy of being the little junior sister!
Wei Zhi stood up, and when the abbot followed closely, he suddenly spoke, and for the first time faced this nominal master and adoptive father alone and asked a question.
“Abbot, when I was young, I asked you why others said that I was born to save people, so I had to complete their unfinished homework, carry them across the river, and protect them from disasters. You said that this was my fate and I should not be resentful. You asked me to copy the scriptures a hundred times. I wanted to learn kung fu, but you refused and even punished me with many slaps on the hands.”
“Now, do you still think so?”
The abbot raised his eyes and put his hands together. “I should destroy all sentient beings. I have destroyed all sentient beings, but there is not a single sentient being who has actually been destroyed.” [Note 2]
Wei Zhi watched him finish reading, turned his head and looked at Lin Du, “In that case, I have no problem anymore.”

Note 1: Ming Li Zhi’s "Burning Books·Cold Lamp Talk": Moreover, it is unkind to be generous with other people’s money and spend other people’s money, but it doesn’t matter to yourself, right? The general idea is to use human feelings to force others to compromise and make sacrifices, so as to appear great, but in fact, you have not made any sacrifices and make others look very reluctant.
2: It comes from the Diamond Sutra. The "miedu" here means more of "du", which can be directly understood as saving sentient beings. There is another sentence behind it, "If there is a self-image, a human image, a sentient being image, or a life image, then you are not a bodhisattva." According to my shallow understanding without enlightenment, the meaning used here is that the host wants to wake up Wei Zhi and tell him that he should not have a self-image. If he is too obsessed with saving others, he is not a bodhisattva or a Buddha.
