Sheng Ning was awakened by the pain.
Feeling a stinging pain in the palm of her hand, she raised her hand and saw a dark, swarming worm coiled around her palm, its tail swaying back and forth.
They do look quite cute.
If it weren't for its teeth constantly biting its own hand, it would have been fine.
Sheng Ning shook the worm off his hand, but found that he couldn't shake it off, so he immediately raised his hand and covered its nostrils with his fingertips.
The pig-like insect, unable to breathe for a moment, rolled its eyes and fell into her arms with a thud.
"Awoo!"
Sheng Ning looked down at the two small holes in the web of her hand, pursed her lips, pinched the little body of the pig-worm, and pulled it in front of her.
"You've learned to bite people since I haven't seen you for a while?"
"Awoo!"
When the pig-like insect saw that she had woken up, it wagged its little tail even more vigorously.
It spins as fast as a helicopter propeller, chugging along. If Sheng Ning hadn't been holding it, it would have been able to fly on its own by now.
Sheng Ning was amused by its excited appearance and was about to take it off the bed when she heard voices outside the door.
"If you leave, there will be no one to look after Junior Sister. What if she jumps into the sea?" It was Yu Ye who said this.
"Besides, it's just a fish jumping into the sea. No matter how pretty it is, can it be as pretty as my junior sister?" said Yu Ye.
"Senior Brother, I am very disappointed in you." It was Yu Ye again.
As the eldest disciple of the Invincible Sect, Su Daiyuan was always the one who disciplined his junior brothers and sisters.
Even within the sect, his master had to give him some face when he needed to ask him to buy roast goose.
Now, however, his fourth junior brother points his finger at him and says he's disappointed.
Su Daiyuan raised his hand and touched his nose, saying, "I didn't go to see the fish."
Yu glared at him, "Nonsense! I was with you just now to look at the fish!"
There are various kinds of fish in the sea, and when the ferry passes a school of fish, some fish will jump out of the water.
But that big fish was different; it could swallow the entire ferry whole in one gulp. Su Daiyuan only left the room after hearing the exclamations outside.
Apart from the crew and the helmsman, none of the other cultivators on the ship had ever seen such a large fish.
Fearing being swallowed by the fish, many cultivators unleashed their immense spiritual power.
In an instant, colorful attacking spiritual energy appeared on the huge ferry.
The large fish was quickly defeated and returned to the deep sea, but some people were still shaken.
The hallucinogenic fog from last time terrified them.
Even though three days had passed since the incident, they remained vigilant.
"I'm going to help."
Su Daiyuan's explanation made Yu Ye snort, "Junior Sister has been unconscious for three days and hasn't woken up yet."
"Senior Brother, you're on duty today. What if something happens to Junior Sister while you're on duty...?"
Yu Ye was forced to stop halfway through his sentence.
The walls and doors of the room have been repaired.
Yu Ye walked behind Su Daiyuan, who had stopped walking at some point. Yu Ye bumped into Su Daiyuan, hitting his back muscles and causing him to burst into tears from the pain.
"Senior Brother, it's enough if you admit your mistake and correct it. You don't need to retaliate against me just because I said a few words, do you?"
Su Daiyuan stood at the door of the room. The door was opened, and he looked at the girl sitting on the edge of the bed, his pupils trembling.
"Junior Sister".
Yu Ye stood behind him, covering her nose and nodding, "Yes, our top priority right now is to protect our junior sister and prevent her from jumping into the sea."
As soon as he finished speaking, Su Daiyuan strode into the room.
It was because of his actions that Yu Ye finally saw his junior sister wake up, sitting by the bed looking at him with a smile in her eyes.
Yu Ye's eyes, which were already red from the pain of his nose being hit, suddenly became even redder.
He raised his hand and pinched his waist; the stinging pain made him jump up on the spot.
"It hurts, I'm not dreaming!"
He strode into the room, rushed to the bedside, and squeezed next to Su Daiyuan, "Junior Sister, you're finally awake... Waaaaah..."
Yu really cried.
The trauma of being frightened by the Lu Qing'an brothers that day is still lingering.
Over the past three days, he would come over every now and then and reach under Sheng Ning's nose to check her breath.
He only relaxed slightly after confirming several times that she was still breathing.
Sheng Ning was tackled onto the bed.
Yu hugged her tightly with both arms, his head gently rubbing against her cheek.
Just like a husky.
It left her both amused and exasperated.
Su Daiyuan stood aside watching this scene, and his spirits, which had been low for many days, finally lifted.
A smile played on his lips as he reached out his small hand to Sheng Ning for help, and took it in his hand. "Junior Sister, you're finally awake."
The news of Sheng Ning waking up reached Lu Qing'an and the other two instantly.
The small room was once again packed with people.
Sheng Ning sat on the bed, holding two cats, a small snake, and a small dragon in her arms.
She just sat there, quietly listening to what had happened during her time in a coma.
Nearly half of the monks who boarded the ship with them jumped into the sea and exploded.
The sea stretched to the horizon. Some people, disbelieving the superstition, flew away on their swords, but three days have passed and they have not returned.
“Zhao Nanxiao came to see you, but there was nothing wrong with your body, and the toxins were quickly expelled. We dare not gamble, so we can only stay by your side.”
Lu Qing'an looked at his junior sister, who had been asleep for three days.
Unlike her previous sallow and thin appearance, she now seems to be even fairer and more vibrant than before.
His heart skipped a beat. He released his divine sense to probe, then abruptly stood up from his chair. "Junior Sister, are you about to advance in rank?"
Before falling into a coma, Sheng Ning was at the ninth level of the Foundation Establishment stage.
