"Why don't you come out and have a proper chat with me? What are you doing, sneaking around and doing things that only a shameless person would do?"
Still no response.
The vine had already wrapped around her thigh, deepening the furrow in her brow.
"Your Excellency, please have some self-respect."
The vine kept trying to grow upwards, and Sheng Ning watched as 'he' gently touched her wrist with a leaf, and then wrapped it around her wrist.
For no apparent reason.
Not only did Sheng Ning not sense any killing intent from the vines, but she also felt as if she had been... teased?
When the thought popped into her mind, her eye twitched violently.
ridiculous.
It was her first time visiting this mountain; how could she possibly be harassed?
Moreover, there was no one here. Apart from the vines wrapped around her wrist and constantly rubbing their leaves against the back of her hand, she didn't see a single living creature.
As the leaf continued to rub against the back of her hand, Sheng Ning's expression gradually turned ugly.
"If you don't show up soon, don't blame me for taking action."
After saying that, Sheng Ning pulled the trigger.
The instant the bullet pierced the dead wood, she clearly sensed the vines freeze in place.
Is this thing still alive?
Just as she was about to aim her gun at the center of the dead tree where the vines had appeared, intending to force them out, a crisp 'chirp' sound rang out from within the dead tree.
"Chirp chirp".
Sheng Ning frowned. That person even kept poultry?
Why couldn't she detect it with her divine sense?
Just as she was wondering what was going on, a dead tree covered in vines suddenly rolled to her feet.
"Chirp chirp".
