Seeing his junior sister standing beside him, and feeling the night breeze on his face, he looked up at the starry sky above.
"Junior Sister, are we...home?"
"What? We're home? Oh right, I remember we went to the Taixu Sect. How come I fainted after only a couple of sips of tea? Where's Sect Leader Rong, and Xuanming?"
Two muffled voices rang in everyone's ears.
After confirming that the two were unharmed and that the medicine Rong Zhuo had used on them would not have any effect on them, Sheng Ning realized that the two were indeed unharmed.
He silently breathed a sigh of relief.
"We haven't returned to the Invincible Sect yet; we're still in Sect Master Rong's courtyard."
The two nodded in agreement.
Smelling the burnt smell in the air, Qi Wenyao sniffed, "Who burned something? It smells so bad."
After he finished speaking, he saw a charred corpse lying on the ground not far away.
