Chapter 146 Interrogation
The counselor knew the situation was serious, so he stopped trying to stop them and quickly said, "Okay, I'll call the police right away."
After receiving the emergency call, the police went to the school to investigate. They then reviewed surveillance footage from the vicinity and discovered that Xiaoxiao had gotten into a man's car two nights prior, and the man had driven her home the following noon. However, she did not immediately return to school; instead, she was abducted by two men and forced into a van.
The police immediately searched for the van and found it at the entrance of a secluded alley. Upon inspection, they discovered it was a scrapped vehicle.
The trail went cold.
Xiaoxiao seemed to have vanished from the face of the earth, never to be found again.
The police summoned Huang Dehan and asked him, "Did you contact Xiaoxiao the day before yesterday?"
"Yes, I took her back to school the day before yesterday at noon, and then I went back to work at the company," Huang Dehan said calmly.
"What's your relationship? Are you boyfriend and girlfriend?"

The police officer glared at Huang Dehan and asked again, "After you took her back to school, did you contact her again?"

However, his hesitation lasted only a moment before Huang Dehan replied calmly, "The night before last, I was cleaning the apartment I had just rented by myself because my girlfriend was moving in the next day, so I went over and cleaned it up."
"So, you were all alone the night before last?"
"Yes."
Why don't you ask your girlfriend for help?
"Because I wanted to give her a surprise."
The police stared intently at Huang Dehan, attempting to overwhelm him with their presence and break through his psychological defenses.

"After I dropped her off at Jiangshan Park, I left."
"Who is Xiaoxiao going to see? Male or female? What are their names?"
"I don't know about that. After I dropped her off there, she told me to go back."
"You left her there alone? Didn't you see her friends?"
"Yes, when I took her there, I didn't see her friends. She told me to leave, so I left."
