"Thank you, Huo Jiansheng." Li Man looked at Huo Jiansheng and thanked him sincerely.
Huo Jiansheng smiled and said, "I told you so much not so that you would thank me."
"Then what do you want?"
Huo Jiansheng looked at Li Man and said seriously, "I want you to be happy every day and not cry in front of me. To be honest, I really can't stand girls crying in front of me."
A warm feeling welled up in her heart. No one had ever cared about her feelings before, and no one had ever said such things to her. Li Man's eyes welled up with tears. "Thank you. I will. I will never cry in front of you again."
"Hey, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying you can't cry. If you really want to cry, just call me and I'll come and keep you company." Huo Jiansheng patted his shoulder. "You can lend me your shoulder too."
Riemann couldn't help but chuckle. It would be a lie to say she wasn't touched, but having a friend like that was truly wonderful!
Seeing Riemann smile, Huo Jiansheng smiled too.
"Oh right, what did you say you wanted to see me about?" Li Man suddenly remembered that Huo Jiansheng seemed to have said he wanted to see her about something.
Huo Jiansheng had almost forgotten about it if he hadn't mentioned it. "It's like this, I had someone investigate Huang Dehan..."

"So what do we do now?"

Li Man couldn't help but say thank you again, but one thank you was not enough to express her gratitude to Huo Jiansheng.
"Huo Jiansheng, why are you so good to me? I don't know how to repay you."
