Chapter 188 The Amorous Ghost

Chapter 188 The Amorous Ghost

Tang Kai had been living abroad with his mother. Two months ago, he and his mother suddenly returned to China and moved into one of Tang Guangyao's villas with his mother.

Gu Ya was quite dissatisfied with this, but she couldn't say anything, so she could only complain to her friends in private.

It's outrageous that the husband's ex-wife has returned with their son and is still living in his house.

It's not like she doesn't have her own place to live, but she insists on living in her ex-husband's house.

Tang Kai's lips were pressed tightly together, his eyes fixed on the closed operating room door, his cold and handsome face revealing no emotion.

He merely glanced at Riemann's arrival indifferently, without even offering a greeting.

"How is it? What exactly happened?" Riemann asked in a low voice.

Gu Ya subconsciously looked at Tang Kai and whispered, "I'll tell you later. The person just went in. It really scared me to death."

Li Man held Gu Ya's hand, squeezed it gently, and comforted her, "It will be alright, don't worry."

Seeing that Gu Ya was tired from standing with her big belly, Li Man helped her sit down on a chair.

Gu Ya is already more than seven months pregnant, and she will give birth in about two more months.

About an hour later, the operating room door opened and the doctor came out.

Tang Kai, who had been standing at the door, strode forward and asked, "Doctor, how is my father?"

Gu Ya quickly stood up, and Li Man helped her to the doctor. Gu Ya asked anxiously, "Doctor, how is my husband?"

The doctor removed his mask and said, "The surgery was a success. The patient is out of danger. The hematoma in his brain has been cleared. As for whether there will be any aftereffects, we'll have to wait until he wakes up to find out."

"When will he wake up?" Gu Ya asked again.

"It depends on his condition. He should wake up by tomorrow at the latest," the doctor said.

Just then, the nurse wheeled Tang Guangyao out. Gu Ya rushed forward, grabbed the gurney, and cried out, "Guangyao, Guangyao, wake up! Don't scare me..."

"Auntie, could you please move aside? I need to push my dad back to his ward." Tang Kai interrupted Gu Ya coldly, showing her no respect whatsoever.

Gu Ya didn't mind and generously let go of his hand. Tang Kai then followed the nurse as she pushed Tang Guangyao away.

The person didn't wake up, so her act was useless.

Gu Ya didn't follow, but continued to ask the doctor, "Doctor, can my husband's condition be completely cured? Will there be any aftereffects?"

"We still need to observe the specific situation, but the surgery went smoothly. As long as there is no infection, there shouldn't be any problems. However, the patient was brought in too late and missed the optimal time for surgery, which may lead to some sequelae," the doctor said.

"What kind of aftereffects might there be?" Gu Ya asked nervously.

"It's hard to say. We'll have to wait until he wakes up to know. Don't worry too much, just focus on his treatment," the doctor reassured him.

"Okay, thank you, doctor," Gu Ya said.

The doctor waved his hand, turned around, and went into the operating room.

After the doctor left, Gu Ya said angrily, "What a philanderer! He even wanted to die on a woman's belly!"

"What exactly is going on?" Riemann was completely confused.

Gu Ya then told Li Man the whole story: "That old man went out to find a woman last night. To have more fun, he took some aphrodisiacs. He got too carried away and fell face-first onto the woman's stomach. The woman thought he was dead, so she got dressed and ran away without paying any attention to him. By the time he was found, a whole night had passed. He was really shameful."
