Chapter 205 Jumping off a building
Under San'er's persistent questioning, her parents told her everything, including the fact that Lu Feng had promised to give her one million.
Upon hearing this, San'er felt as if he had been struck by lightning. His face turned deathly pale, and he trembled uncontrollably. "You asked him for a million?"
"What? You think it's too little too? I think it's too little, but he said his company is about to go bankrupt and he can't come up with that much money." After saying that, San'er's father asked San'er, "Is what he said true? Is he about to go bankrupt?"
San'er's tears welled up instantly, and she cried out, "Give me the phone, I want to call him and ask him if he's really so heartless."
San'er's father quickly handed the phone to San'er and urged, "Call him quickly and tell him to take more money."
Lu Feng had just returned home when he saw the call from San'er. He hesitated for a moment, but still answered.

Hearing the crying coming from the other end of the phone, Lu Feng only said "I'm sorry" and then hung up.
San'er was unwilling to give up and attacked again.
But the phone went dead – Lu Feng's phone was switched off.
San'er was utterly devastated. She thought about how she was so young and already had no uterus, how the man who claimed to love her had abandoned her, and how her parents only cared about money and didn't care about her at all.
The more she thought about it, the sadder and more heartbroken she became. She couldn't help but burst into tears, and as she cried, she drifted off to sleep.
San'er woke up in the middle of the night. Her parents were asleep on the small sofa bed. She endured the pain and got out of bed.
She hunched over, enduring the excruciating pain in her abdomen, and slowly walked out of the room, supporting herself against the wall.
She took the elevator to the rooftop.
The wind was strong on the rooftop, howling and ruffling her long hair. She sat on the edge of the rooftop, gently swinging her legs.
"Bang!"
A muffled thud broke the silence of midnight.
San'er lay on the ground like a broken doll.
Bright red blood smeared and spread from beneath her, like blooming, vibrant roses.

San'er is dead.
San'er's parents blamed Lu Feng for San'er's death. They went to Lu Feng's company and made a scene, holding up banners demanding that Lu Feng pay for his life.
They made a huge scene and it even made the news.
Under pressure, Lu Feng lost a large sum of money, and eventually the company went bankrupt due to cash flow problems.

On the day she left, Li Man and Chen Xiaohui both went to the airport to see her off.
Chen Xiaohui reminded us, "Remember to call us when you get there to let us know you're safe."
"Don't worry, I will. You can come over after Gu Ya and I have opened the restaurant," Tan Xiyuan said.
