Chapter 262 Introduction to the Job
Huang Dehan had been starving all day and couldn't take it anymore, so he deliberately dirtied his face so that no one would recognize him.
He had intended to go to the restaurant to beg for some food, but before he even entered the restaurant, he was chased away like a fly.
He had no choice but to go to a food stall to find something to eat.
Seeing someone pay the bill and leave, he quickly went over and grabbed the leftover food with his hands, stuffing it into his mouth.
The waiter saw this and quickly came over to shoo him away, saying, "Go, go, go! Don't get our plates dirty."
Huang Dehan ignored the waiter and kept stuffing food into his mouth.
Seeing that Huang Dehan refused to leave, the waiter brought a broom and started hitting Huang Dehan directly, saying, "Get out of here, you madman, don't make a mess of our place."
It turns out that in other people's eyes, I'm just a madman.
A sense of sorrow welled up in Huang Dehan's heart, and his eyes inexplicably reddened.
He was once a prodigy, but now...
Huang Dehan felt a mix of emotions, a particularly unpleasant feeling.
But his hands wouldn't stop, because he was so hungry.
He was in pain, but he couldn't care less.
One customer, unable to bear it any longer, said to the waiter, "Don't bother arguing with a madman. If he wants to eat, let him eat. It's going to be thrown away anyway."
The waiter retorted angrily, "Who knows if he has any infectious diseases? He's dirtied the plates, how are we supposed to serve them to our guests?"
The guest listened and agreed that it made sense, so he stopped speaking up for Huang Dehan.
A middle-aged man sat not far away, his sharp, eagle-like eyes fixed on Huang Dehan, like a hunter spotting his prey.
Huang Dehan kept stuffing things into his mouth until it was completely full before leaving.
But Huang Dehan had only taken a few steps when a hand suddenly landed on his shoulder from behind.
Huang Dehan was startled, thinking it was a policeman. He didn't dare turn his head and turned to run away.
But the hand on his shoulder was like an iron clamp, gripping him tightly, making it impossible for him to run away.
Huang Dehan wanted to beg for mercy, but his mouth was full of food. In his haste, he choked and spewed out the food in his mouth. He coughed so hard he couldn't catch his breath.
"Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you," the person behind you said slowly.
After Huang Dehan calmed down, he turned around and saw that it wasn't a policeman, which put his mind at ease.
"Then why are you grabbing me?"
Huang Dehan was furious, because he had just finished eating and now he had nothing left to eat.
The man pointed to a table not far away and asked, "Are you hungry? Want to eat with me?"
Huang Dehan eyed the man warily, not believing in the existence of a free lunch, and asked, "Why are you being nice to me? Just tell me what your purpose is."
The man chuckled and said, "I can tell you're quite smart. I can introduce you to a job. Are you interested?"
Huang Dehan asked instinctively, "What kind of work?"
The man put his arm around Huang Dehan's shoulder and said with a smile, "Let's go, let's eat and chat."
But Huang Dehan was very vigilant, and he wasn't someone who could be easily fooled. He stood still and said, "Tell me clearly what kind of work you want to do first."
The man laughed and said, "Don't worry, I guarantee you'll make a fortune!"
A job that can make a lot of money is definitely one that can't be done in the light of day.
Huang Dehan wanted to refuse, but when he thought about his current situation, he hesitated. He didn't want to live like this, hiding and running for the rest of his life. He didn't want to live like this anymore. In short, he was already in this situation, how much worse could it get?
Is there a difference between killing one person and killing a hundred people?
There's no difference, because if you get caught, you'll die anyway!
