Chapter 317 Watching a Movie
A marriage without sex is unlikely to last.
When his wife discovered that he had feelings for someone else, she immediately asked him for a divorce.
She called him selfish, she made a huge scene, but he just sat on the sofa without saying a word.

After dinner, Li Man and Chen Shi went out to see a movie.
Chen Shi had already bought the movie tickets.
The two arrived at the movie theater. Chen Shiru, like a young man experiencing his first love, was extremely nervous. He asked Li Man to wait for him while he ran off to buy a bucket of popcorn and a bottle of cola.
He always remembered that when he went to the movies with Riemann, Riemann would always ask him to buy these two things.
"Here you go!" He handed the things he had bought to Riemann.
Riemann looked down at the things Chen Shi handed her, a helpless smile playing on her lips. "Please, do you think I'm still young? I stopped eating this junk food a long time ago."
A hint of disappointment flashed across Chen Shi's eyes, but he quickly regained his composure and said, "What would you like to eat? I'll go buy it for you."
"No need, we've already bought it, it'd be a waste not to eat it." Li Man took the popcorn and cola from Chen Shi. "Thanks!"
Chen Shi couldn't help but smile, revealing a row of clean, even teeth, which looked quite handsome.
Riemann smiled and said to Chen Shi, "Let's go!"
Even though they hadn't seen each other for many years, their relationship remained as good as ever when they met again.
After the two checked their tickets and entered the theater, they found their seats and the movie started shortly afterward.
Riemann watched the movie while eating popcorn.
This is a romance film where the male and female protagonists go through many hardships and finally become a couple.
Riemann watched with tears in her eyes, wiping them away frequently.
Chen Shi kept handing Li Man tissues.
He had no interest in watching the movie; his mind was preoccupied with how to confess his feelings to Riemann.
"I can't miss this opportunity again," Chen Shi thought to himself.
There was a young couple ahead of us; the girl was nestled in the boy's arms, crying her eyes out.
He also wanted to be like that couple, to hold Riemann in his arms, wipe away her tears, and comfort her.
But with his arm resting on the back of the chair, he didn't have the courage to put it on Riemann's shoulder until the movie ended.
As the movie ended and the lights in the theater came on, Riemann wiped away her tears and stood up.
Seeing Chen Shi still sitting there dumbfounded, Li Man said with amusement, "Let's go, still immersed in the plot?"
A bitter smile appeared on Chen Shi's lips as he stood up. He had been so focused on looking at her that he had no idea what the movie was about.
"This movie is so touching, how come you're not moved at all?" Riemann asked, wiping away her tears.
Chen Shi, feigning maturity, said, "At our age, how can we be so easily moved?"
Riemann scoffed, "Keep pretending!"
Chen Shi's heart tightened, thinking that Riemann had discovered his thoughts. He hurriedly tried to explain, but saw Riemann walk away as if nothing had happened.
He shook his head and quickly followed Riemann.
As I walked out of the movie theater, it started snowing again, the snow falling gently and gracefully.
Chen Shi didn't want to go back so early, so he suggested, "It's snowing, and the roads are difficult to walk on. Shall we wander around some more?"
Riemann took out her phone to check the time, only to find missed calls.
It was Huo Jiansheng calling.
