Chapter 488 Will You Be My Girlfriend?
Gu Ya didn't know how to start the conversation when Li Jun's voice came from the other end of the phone again, reporting on his work. After finishing, he asked, "Are you coming over?"
Gu Ya raised an eyebrow, wanting to tease him, and asked, "Then do you want to see me?"
Li Jun hesitated for a moment before replying, "I want to!"
He probably never expected Gu Ya to ask him that question.
A smile played on Gu Ya's lips as she asked, "In your heart, what am I to you? Your boss? Or..."
Gu Ya didn't continue speaking; she waited for the person on the other end of the phone to answer.
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the phone before the reply came: "Of course you're my boss, but I'd prefer you to be my girlfriend."
Whether Li Jun was sincere or not, Gu Ya's heart still fluttered with joy upon hearing his answer.
But anyone who's not stupid would give that answer.
Gu Ya is currently single and has so much wealth. Marrying her would save you countless years of hard work; it's like marrying a gold mine. Even if Gu Ya looked like a sow, there would be a bunch of men vying to marry her. What's more, Gu Ya isn't ugly at all, and she has a curvaceous figure.
Unable to get a reply from Gu Ya, Li Jun became very nervous. He was afraid of upsetting Gu Ya and losing such a good job. He was very annoyed. Maybe Gu Ya didn't like him. If he said that, she would think he was a toad trying to eat swan meat and that he was overestimating himself.
But thinking about last night, Li Jun regained some confidence. Although he was drunk last night, he wasn't so drunk that he was unconscious; his mind was still quite clear.
He pretended to be drunk simply so that Gu Ya would take care of him.

Gu Ya smiled and said, "Will you still call me President Gu? In private, I hope you'll call me by my name."
Li Jun quickly said, "Okay, Gu... Xiaoya, can I call you Xiaoya from now on?"
Gu Ya said softly, "Sure."
Although she has been married, she has never had a proper romantic relationship.
Deep down, she still longed for a passionate and intense romance.
"Xiaoya, I made you some millet porridge, have you had it?" Li Jun asked with concern.
"I'll drink it, thank you!" Gu Ya said.
"It's what I should do. I'll make it for you every day from now on, okay?"
"Okay~"
"What do you like to eat? I'll write it down."
Li Jun quickly sat down and picked up a pen to write it down.
Gu Ya smiled and said slowly, "I like to eat durian, banana, mangosteen and grapes. I don't like spicy food and prefer to eat light food. I'm not picky about food. As long as it's cooked well, I like to eat it."
Li Jun carefully wrote it down. "Anything else? What's your favorite color?"
