Chapter 515 Bread Stolen
As Huang Dehan walked, he came to the front of a bakery. The bakery was about to close, and the staff were throwing unsold bread into the trash can.
Huang Dehan immediately stopped and waited for the shop assistant to bring out the trash can.
A short while later, the shop assistant dragged out a trash can and placed it on the side of the road.
Huang Dehan quickly stepped forward, bent down to pick up the bread from the trash can, and wolfed it down.
He was so hungry that he hadn't eaten anything all day, so when he saw bread, he stuffed it into his mouth.
He choked because he ate too fast, and his eyes went blank. He stretched his neck and patted his chest a few times to finally get the bread stuck in his throat down into his stomach. But his chest hurt from choking. He quickly took out the water he had brought from the restaurant from his pocket, opened the bottle cap, and gulped down a few mouthfuls.
I felt much better after drinking the water.
He put the cap back on the bottle, tucked it into his pocket, and began to eat heartily again.
Just then, a few homeless people walked over.
Afraid they would snatch it from him, Huang Dehan quickly stuffed a piece of bread into his mouth, then frantically picked up bread from the trash can, gathering a whole bunch in his arms.
Several homeless people came to the trash can, where there were still a few pieces of bread, which they picked up.
Huang Dehan quickly grabbed the bread and left, afraid that the homeless man would snatch it from him.
But he hadn't gone far when the homeless man caught up with him.
Upon seeing this, Huang Dehan turned and ran.
"Stop...stop..."
Stop your mother!
Huang Dehan cursed inwardly and ran even faster.
He was running too fast and didn't notice the steps in front of him. He tripped and fell flat on his face, his knee hitting the concrete and the bread he was holding spilling all over the ground.
Ignoring the pain, he quickly got up and picked up the bread from the ground.
At this moment, several homeless men caught up and bent down to pick up the bread from the ground.
“Put it down, this is my bread!” Huang Dehan shouted loudly.
But nobody paid him any attention, and even the bread in his hand was snatched away by a homeless man.
Huang Dehan resisted and was slapped several times.
The other side had a large number of people and was too powerful for him to defeat alone.
The bread was all stolen by the homeless.
Huang Dehan was on the verge of tears.
A piercing pain shot through his knee. He looked down and saw a hole in his pants at the knee, the exposed skin was scraped and bleeding.
Huang Dehan frowned. He only had two pairs of pants, and now this pair was torn...
"Sigh!" He sighed heavily.
He limped forward, still not full.
He started rummaging through the trash cans again.
Seeing someone throwing things into the trash can ahead, he quickly ran over and picked them up.
It's a half-eaten hamburger.
Ignoring the mess, he ate heartily.
He finished half a hamburger in just a few bites.
But he still didn't feel full.
Hey, are you Chinese?
Seeing Huang Dehan rummaging through the trash can, a few blond-haired foreigners approached and asked in broken Chinese.
"..."
Huang Dehan ignored them and continued rummaging through his trash can.
"I have some food here."
The blond-haired foreigner said with a smile.
Huang Dehan looked up at them.
When Huang Dehan looked over, the foreigners laughed even louder, their eyes full of contempt and mockery. One of them shook the bag in his hand and said, "Crawl between my legs and I'll give you all this food!"
