Chapter 59: We should pay more attention to the children.

The water on Tan Xiyuan soaked Lu Feng's clothes.

Lu Feng helplessly broke free from Tan Xiyuan's hand and took off his mask. "What's wrong with you today? You drank so much. You weren't like this before."

Tan Xiyuan was completely drunk and incoherent, so he was in no condition to answer Lu Feng's questions.

“Lu Feng…” Tan Xiyuan mumbled, then leaned in and kissed Lu Feng’s lips.

Lu Feng then embraced Tan Xiyuan.

Tan Xiyuan clung tightly to Lu Feng like a water snake.

Tan Xiyuan's passion ignited Lu Feng's desire, and the two kissed passionately in the bathroom.

The water from the showerhead gushed down, splashing onto the two of them. The misty steam blurred the mirror, revealing two indistinct figures tightly entwined together.

...

"Ring ring ring—"

The next morning, Riemann was woken up early by the incessant ringing of the alarm clock.

She squinted, half-asleep, and reached out to turn off the noisy alarm clock on the bedside table.

She got home around 3 a.m. last night. She assumed Huang Dehan was already asleep, but to her surprise, she found him sitting on the living room sofa with a dark expression; they had just had a fight. By the time she finished showering and went to bed, it was almost dawn.

Thinking about going to the hospital to change Chen Xiaohui, Li Man still got out of bed.

After quickly washing up, Riemann rushed to the hospital without even having breakfast.

As soon as I reached the door of the ward, I heard crying and Chen Xiaohui's anxious voice coming from inside.

Riemann's heart tightened, and she quickly pushed open the door.

Anxin was lying on the bed, crying uncontrollably.

Chen Xiaohui stood by, frantically trying to comfort her.

Li Man strode inside. "What's wrong with An Xin?"

Chen Xiaohui's eyes were red. "I don't know. The child started crying as soon as she woke up, and she won't say anything when I ask her."

"Is it too painful? Have you called a doctor?"

"Yes, Junfeng has already gone to call him."

As the two were talking, Wang Junfeng arrived with the doctor.

When An Xin woke up and saw Wang Junfeng, she was startled and instinctively tried to run away. However, the movement aggravated her wounds, and the pain almost made her faint.

An Xin was in pain, felt wronged, and was scared. Tears streamed down her face uncontrollably. The more she cried, the more her wound hurt, and the more her wound hurt, the harder she cried.

When the doctor arrived, he saw that An Xin was agitated and trembling all over, so he quickly had a nurse give her a sedative injection.

After being given the sedative, An Xin quickly calmed down and fell asleep.

Seeing An Xin like this, Chen Xiaohui felt extremely distressed, and tears kept falling down her face. "How could this happen? How could An Xin be like this?"

Wang Junfeng was still in shock; he had thought An Xin would reveal everything he had done.

"Don't agitate the patient," the doctor said.

“We didn’t upset her. She was like this as soon as she woke up,” Chen Xiaohui said, wiping away her tears.

The doctor pondered for a moment and said, "I suggest you consult a psychologist. It's possible that your child is under too much academic pressure. As parents, you should also pay more attention to your child."

Chen Xiaohui wanted to retort, she hadn't neglected her child, nor had she been too strict with his studies. She opened her mouth, but swallowed her words and replied, "I understand, thank you, doctor."

The doctor nodded, glanced at An Xin on the hospital bed, and said, "I'll come back to check on her when she wakes up."

After saying that, the doctor left.
