Chapter 605 The Grand Wedding (Part 1)
The wedding day arrived as scheduled.
Riemann first held her wedding in Shenzhen, then returned to Ancheng for her homecoming ceremony, and after that, she flew directly to the Maldives for her honeymoon.
Riemann left Ancheng and then took a private plane to Shenzhen to get married.
When they went out, Tan Xiyuan, Gu Ya, and Chen Xiaohui were all there.
Fortunately, the restaurant has hired enough staff, so their absence won't have any impact.
An Xin and Huang Duoduo served as flower girls, and they looked very pretty in their pure white dresses.
Huang Duoduo was very happy for her mother when she got married.
During this time, she thought a lot. She no longer worried that her mother would neglect her after getting married, because she knew that her mother was not that kind of person.
My mother said that even if she gets married, things will be the same as before, nothing will change.
Riemann did not hire bridesmaids because bridesmaids were required to be unmarried young girls, and all her friends were married, so they could not be bridesmaids.
Having Gu Ya, Tan Xiyuan, and Chen Xiaohui accompany her when she goes out is enough.
Huo Jiansheng, accompanied by a group of relatives and friends, took a private plane from Shenzhen to Ancheng at 3 a.m. to pick up his bride.
His best man was Xiao Shanjie.
Upon arriving at Riemann's house, they expected to be blocked at the door demanding a red envelope, but to their surprise, they easily entered Riemann's room.
Looking at the people who had come to pick up the bride, Gu Ya cleared her throat and said, "Let's skip the red envelopes and stuff. We can give you the girl, but you have to promise us that you will treat her well. If you can't do that, then please tell Li Man that she will leave you gracefully without batting an eye!"
Looking at the beautiful and charming Li Man, Huo Jiansheng said emotionally, "Don't worry, Li Man, I will be good to you for the rest of my life. Please believe me."
Riemann smiled and said, "I believe you!"
Riemann looked beautiful today. She was wearing a golden dragon and phoenix gown, and her hair was styled in an updo with a gold hairpin inserted in it.
"Alright, enough with the nonsense. Since the bride says she believes you, let's take her back."
Gu Ya waved her hand and said.
Seeing Gu Ya's bold and unrestrained manner, the people who came to pick up the bride laughed.
Huo Jiansheng stepped forward, knelt down on one knee in front of Li Man, and then took out the ring and put it on her finger.
"Liman, thank you for marrying me. For the rest of my life, I will only love you. I will give you everything I have. From now on, you will be in charge of everything at home. All my money will be given to you. I will cherish you and love you. Please believe me!"
With tears welling in her eyes, Riemann said emotionally, "I believe you."
After a heartfelt confession, Huo Jiansheng helped Li Man put on her shoes before carrying her out the door.
The wedding procession went very smoothly. They took a private jet back to Shenzhen and then headed straight for the old house.
The old house was decorated with lanterns and colorful streamers, creating a festive atmosphere.
As soon as she got off the bus, someone came forward and held a red umbrella for Riemann.
Riemann turned her head and saw her sister-in-law.
Seeing Riemann looking over, her sister-in-law gave her a bright smile.
Riemann returned her a bright smile.
Guided by her sister-in-law, Riemann stepped over the brazier and entered the old house.
The old house was bustling with activity, and the old lady, dressed in a newly made bright red Tang suit, sat regally in the front hall.
Huo Jiansheng first took Li Man to pay respects to the Huo family ancestors before returning to the main hall to offer tea to the old lady and Huo Jiansheng's parents.
After the old lady finished drinking the tea her granddaughter-in-law served her, she put down the cup, took off a jade bracelet from her own hand, and slipped it onto Li Man's wrist. "This is my dowry, and Grandma is giving it to you today."
Li Man quickly said, "Thank you, Grandma."
