Chapter 74 Concealing is condoning bad people
Li Man silently stayed with An Xin until An Xin's crying gradually subsided.
"Can you tell Auntie what happened the night before last?" Riemann asked softly.
An Xin cried until her eyes and nose were red. She sobbed for a while before finally saying, "Auntie, can you promise me... not to tell my mom, okay?"
"Okay, Auntie promises you!" Li Man felt a pang of sadness, but she still agreed to An Xin's request.
"You can't lie to me," An Xin said, sobbing.
“Why don’t you want your mother to know? She’s really worried about you,” Li Man said softly.
“I’m afraid she’ll be heartbroken. She finally found happiness. If she knew that Uncle Wang was this kind of person, she would definitely be very sad.” As she spoke, An Xin’s tears welled up again, rolling down her cheeks and disappearing into her hair.
Riemann's heart ached. What an understanding child she was! How could Wang Junfeng do this...?

An Xin stared blankly at Li Man; Li Man's words gave her a lot of courage.
“But Mom is pregnant, she’s carrying Uncle Wang’s child…” An Xin said anxiously.
“Anxin, don’t worry. Your mother isn’t as fragile as you think. She’s very strong. No matter what happens, we can’t hide it from her. Hiding it from her is the greatest harm we can do to her, understand?”
An Xin nodded blankly, "Aunt Li Man, thank you."
