Chapter 97 I Want to Be with My Dad
Riemann gave a bitter smile. "Do you think your mother can forgive him after he beat her like this?"
Huang Duoduo was speechless.
Riemann looked at her daughter and said seriously, "He has crossed my bottom line, which is something I cannot tolerate or forgive."
“Duoduo, you have to remember, there is no such thing as zero times or countless times when it comes to domestic violence. This is not the first time your father has hit me. I really can’t live with him anymore.”

Huang Duoduo cried so hard she could barely breathe; she was heartbroken.
"No, no," Li Man kept reassuring you. "Mom will never abandon you. Mom promises you that if you choose to stay with Mom, Mom will never remarry or have any more children."
Huang Duoduo sobbed, "Really?"
“Really!” Riemann nodded.
Seeing her mother's bruised and swollen face, Huang Duoduo accepted the fact.
However, she didn't want to stay with her mother; she wanted to stay with her father.
"Mom, I don't want to be with you."
"Why?" Riemann was somewhat surprised; she had thought her daughter would choose her.
“Because you don’t have any money!” Huang Duoduo said. “I’ll talk to my dad, and when he gives me money, I’ll save it up and give it to you.”
Li Man was very touched, not expecting her daughter to think so much at such a young age. "No need, Mom has a job, Mom can earn money."
“Mom, I don’t want you to work so hard. Even though I’m with Dad, I will still come to see you. You will always be my mom,” Huang Duoduo said earnestly.
Riemann looked at her daughter, her heart filled with mixed emotions.
Her daughter's understanding nature broke her heart.
"Aren't you afraid your stepmother will treat you badly?" Riemann wanted to dissuade her daughter from following her father.
"Don't worry, I'm all grown up now. If she dares to treat me badly, I'll stand up to her. Mom, don't worry, I can protect myself," Huang Duoduo comforted her like a little adult.
Although she was worried, Riemann respected her daughter's choice.
