Huang Duoduo quickly handed the things in her hand to Huang Dehan.
After taking it, Huang Dehan asked, "Would you like to come in and sit down?"
Huang Duoduo quickly waved her hand and said, "No, no, I have to go back quickly, otherwise Grandma will be worried if she doesn't see me when she comes back."
Huang Dehan replied, "Okay, then you should go back quickly. Remember, don't tell anyone that I'm here."
"Don't worry, Dad, I won't tell."
Seeing Huang Dehan's pale face, Huang Duoduo couldn't help but ask, "Dad, are you alright?"
Huang Dehan, leaning against the wall, forced himself to say, "I'm fine, you should go back now."

After taking only two steps, Huang Duoduo felt the money in her pocket. She then realized that she hadn't given any money to her father yet. She quickly turned around and called out to Huang Dehan, who was about to close the door, "Dad, wait a minute."
Huang Dehan paused in closing the door, then asked, "What is it?"
Huang Duoduo quickly took out the money from her pocket and said, "Dad, do you not have money for food? This is money Grandma gave me, take it."
As she spoke, Huang Duoduo stuffed all the money into Huang Dehan's hand.
Huang Dehan was very touched; she really is his little darling!
It was all worth spoiling her; daughters are the best.
Huang Dehan was moved to tears. He accepted the money and said, "Alright, go back now."
"Hey!"
Huang Duoduo responded and ran downstairs.
She ran away secretly; she needs to go back quickly.
Huang Duoduo jogged out of Huang Dehan's residential area.
"Duoduo!"
As luck would have it, Huang Duoduo bumped into Li Man and Huo Jiansheng as soon as she left the residential area.
Upon seeing Riemann, Huang Duoduo broke out in a cold sweat, her tongue stammering, "Mom... Mom..."
Li Man glanced at the residential area behind Huang Duoduo, her brows furrowed, and asked, "What are you doing here?"
"No... I didn't do anything..." Huang Duoduo's eyes darted away, not daring to look directly at Li Man, her heart pounding with panic.
"Look at me when you speak!" Riemann suddenly shouted coldly.
Huang Duoduo was startled and lowered her head, not daring to look at Riemann.
What are you doing here?
Riemann suppressed his anger and asked again in as calm a tone as possible.
Huang Duoduo hung her head, her mind blank with fear, unable to think of any reason to fob off Riemann.
If this were Shenzhen, she could lie and say she was visiting a classmate.
But this is Ancheng. She has no friends or classmates here. Who can she look for?
She stammered, "No... I didn't do anything..."
Seeing that Huang Duoduo's face had turned pale with fright, Huo Jiansheng said, "Alright, it's cold outside. Let the child go home first. We can talk about it when we get home."
Riemann breathed a sigh of relief and said, "You go back first, I'll come back later."
"good!"
As if granted a pardon, Huang Duoduo slipped away in a flash.
Li Man stood there, watching Huang Duoduo run into the residential area, before turning to Huo Jiansheng with a furrowed brow. "Don't you think she's strange?"
Huo Jiansheng smiled and said, "You scared the child just now. You won't get anything out of him by asking like that."
As he spoke, his eyes drifted towards the neighborhood where Huang Duoduo had just run out, lost in thought.
"How should I ask?"
Huo Jiansheng didn't answer Li Man's question, but instead asked, "What do you think Duoduo is doing here?"
"How should I know?" Riemann asked, looking bewildered.
