Li Man smiled awkwardly and handed the menu to Huo Jiansheng, "Huo Jiansheng, don't be shy with me, order whatever you want."
“Yes, yes, Mr. Huo, please order whatever you want to eat. Don’t be shy with your auntie, it’s on me today!” Zhang Yan quickly said to Huo Jiansheng.
Huo Jiansheng smiled and said, "Thank you, Auntie. You're welcome."
Zhang Yan also took the menu and ordered two signature dishes. Xin Yu ordered a fried pork rib but not anything else. Huo Jiansheng ordered a fish maw chicken soup and a stir-fried beef.
Huo Jiansheng had eaten with Li Man a few times and knew she loved beef. He ordered the chicken soup for her because she had stayed up all night taking care of her and had dark circles under her eyes.
Seeing that Huo Jiansheng only ordered two dishes, Zhang Yan urged him to order one more.
"No, this is enough for us," Huo Jiansheng politely declined.
Seeing that Huo Jiansheng only ordered two dishes, Li Man ordered two more local specialties—Bagongshan tofu and Wenzhengshan bamboo shoots.
