Final Remarks (I)

Final Remarks (I)

I finally finished another book. I should have written this thank you note earlier, but I was not feeling well and lying in bed for the past two days (plus I was lazy) so I delayed it a bit.

I basically wrote down all the ideas in my mind. The only one I originally planned to write but later deleted was Alice in Wonderland. The main reason was that the original work was too bizarre and full of logical traps, like a bizarre and absurd dream, and I hadn't figured out how to change it.

The results are not bad. The actual first order is more than 6,000 (I saw the first order of the second chapter. The first chapter was launched because Qidian held a lottery event at the time. If you order one chapter, you can enter the lottery. The subscription number was artificially high. The second chapter was normal. That's how the first 10,000 badge came from). Now the average order has risen to more than 9,400, but it's a pity that it's still a little short of 10,000 orders. If I were a full-time author, I would definitely extend it a little longer, but I don't make a living by writing books anyway. I've used up all the books in my mind, and the main storyline has just ended, so there's no need to force a continuation. I was originally an idea-based author.

Let’s talk about the difficulties I encountered while writing this book.

The subject matter of this book is relatively novel, but it is not something I came up with on a whim.

Before starting the book, I listed a dozen ideas that I personally thought had potential when developed, and selected seven or eight of them to show to the editor.

These seven or eight ideas cover several different themes, including imaginative cultivation themes and special two-world themes.

My editor Lu Mingren was also very good and provided comments and suggestions on these ideas.

Finally, based on the editor's feedback and my personal ideas, I finally decided to write this book "The Magician of the Fairy Tale World".

The title looks very conventional, without any big gimmicks. I set it after studying the titles of popular books on Qidian for a while. It is a two-element template that quickly displays the content of the book: [The protagonist's environment/the background of the story/the theme of the story] + [The protagonist's characteristics/special points/profession/gold finger]

Because the subject matter was very novel, after it was put on the shelves, more fairy tale books written by Feng Feng appeared on Qidian and Fanqie. At one point, some people thought that I had grasped the secret to traffic.

But after I actually wrote it, I found a lot of problems.

Let me start with the conclusion: [I think fairy tales are a trap theme.]

I can only say that there is a reason why few people achieved great results in the past.

Of course, this topic can still be written, but my current ideas have a lot of room for improvement.

As to why I say this subject is a trap and what problems it has, please listen to my analysis in "Thoughts after the Book Is Completed (Part 2)".
