"Oh my, [My Lord]? That's such an affectionate way of addressing me~ I'm so jealous!"

Smiling, Ariana looked at the bound angel who had stopped, and was filled with emotion:

"Although I don't know what happened between you two in private, I'm really relieved to see how good your relationship is!"

snort.

Cecilia gave a light snort and spoke calmly:

"...Why should I kill him?"

Barefoot amidst the ruins, Ariana twirled and hopped about nonchalantly.

"Who knows? But your understanding nature saves me a lot of trouble."

"After finding out you were planning to come looking for him, I was really worried you'd kill him with a sword!"

The devil chuckled as he looked at the seemingly indifferent angel, his eyes brimming with amusement.

Do you think that vivid killing intent can fool me?

But why haven't they taken action yet?

So, what changed your mind?

Is it because of those few words he said before the angel of judgment died?

Or did you discover something?

But the reasons don't matter.

"I was planning to step in and hug him to improve my chances when you made your move, but I missed my chance."

"And 'My Lord'? You actually managed to call him that? I thought you'd still maintain your respect for that person~"

"Just as foolish and stubborn as ever."

Jumping to Cecilia's side, Ariana poked and touched everything, constantly testing the angel's patience with her actions.

The shackles on her body vibrated several times, but eventually returned to calm. Cecilia let the other party provoke her, calmly turned around and walked away slowly.

"The holy light of the past has fallen."

"The Lord is no longer the same as she once was."

"As for that title, I don't think I have an obligation to inform you of this heresy."

With her hands behind her back, Ariana enjoyed watching the other person's miserable state.

"Yes, yes, yes! I am a heretic, a destabilizing factor that must be eliminated, and so on... You've been saying all this for years, aren't you tired of it?"

"Besides, you didn't tell me the truth either."

A flash of red light appeared as Ariana appeared before Cecilia, blocking her path.

Staring intently at the angel's rusted helmet, and looking into the eyes hidden beneath, she asked:

"You don't really think they'll just fall like that?"

"Two noble beings who have touched the boundaries of greatness, those two who are vying for the title of 'God above Gods,' will they disappear so easily?"

"No way? No way? No way?"

The angel remained silent and motionless, coldly watching the demon perform before him.

With a smile playing on her lips, Ariana said confidently:

"As expected, you don't believe it either."

"Disbelief from the bottom of my heart."

With a playful glint in her eyes, Ariana took a step forward.

"What a coincidence, that's what I was thinking too."

"No one who has seen them, no one who knows their power, would believe it."

With a scornful laugh, Ariana's alluring face was filled with mockery as she walked up to the bound angel and said:

"They will definitely come back."

"They will come back and take back what they think belongs to them."

Cecilia remained calm and spoke softly:

"...What does this have to do with me?"

laugh.

The demon scoffed at the angel's stubbornness and then shook his head:

"Are you a tsundere? A masochist plus a tsundere, you're really not to be underestimated!"

"As for whether there is a relationship or not, we both know the answer in our hearts."

Standing before the angel, their noses almost touching, the demon's deep, crimson eyes spoke quietly:

"And now, I want an answer."

"Are you going to walk with me and gamble on that possibility?"

"Or will you choose to continue hiding in your jar of chains, using false self-pity to atone for the so-called 'mistakes' you've committed?"

The atmosphere changed; the air between the two became tense, as if an invisible force was distorting the void.

"I'm telling you, we've already fallen to this point, why bother with those meaningless things?"

Upon hearing these words, Cecilia felt only absurdity.

"Are you provoking me? In your current state?"

The demon before me, though his attitude was the same as before, was weaker than ever before.

She becomes so weak that you might suspect she's deliberately trying to lure someone in.

Such folly.

And at this moment, she actually dared to provoke me?

Just for that man?

"Are you crazy? No... you've always been this crazy."

Looking at the smiling demon opposite him, the bound angel's calm tone carried a rare hint of mockery:

"After all, the [lost ones] have never followed the rules and walked the right path..."

Shaking her head shyly, Ariana smiled meaningfully:

"No, no, no, I just chose a different path; there's nothing special about it."

"But when it comes to being unconventional, I still can't compare to you, the [Oathbreaker]~"

A golden light flashed in Cecilia's eyes as she looked intently at the demon who was constantly provoking her.

One smiled, the other remained calm; the air between them began to grow dangerous.

The illusory hall of the judges, which had been damaged by the battle, disappeared, and the scene before them changed.
