The dream world, the Hall of Judges.
Compared to the last time Ning Feng was questioned, the hall was now several times larger in size.
Even so, the entire hall was almost completely packed with people.
The purpose of these people's presence here is clear: they are after the mysterious "Sword Bearer".
Everyone was very curious.
However, unlike the crowded vegetable markets in the city center, although there were many people, the conversations were not loud.
Due to its unique nature, the courthouse is very "good" at cultivating people with relatively calm, or rather, gloomy, personalities.
But compared to their usual silence, as if they wanted to sew their mouths shut, they now seem to have some semblance of humanity.
They chatted in twos and threes, all looking forward to what would happen next.
There is only one reason why their temperaments would change drastically, or even become somewhat abnormal.
Just now, a legend sent a message back.
The swordsman's authority level within the Inquisition system is—Legendary.
What a legend!
In other words...
Could that mysterious adjudicator really be a legend?
...
...
In a secluded corner of the hall, several crows that Ning Feng had seen in the teleportation array hall were gathered there, discussing in hushed tones.
One of the young men and another large man sat side by side, and these two crows talked the most.
Their gestures and movements showed little awkwardness; it was as if they had known each other in real life.
The burly man listened to the young man's words while his gaze swept back and forth across the hall.
His gaze didn't linger on any one person; it swept over them all before they even noticed.
After a while, he suddenly placed his hand on the young man's shoulder and said abruptly:
"He hasn't appeared yet. Do you think... that [Sword Bearer] might be scared?"
His words were interrupted, and after a moment's reaction, the young man turned his head and whispered to the burly man:
"That can't be right, can it? This is only the first time. If he doesn't even dare to show up, wouldn't that be a bit too much..."
Wasn't it said that he might become a legend?
Could it be that even legends are afraid of such a scenario?
"Can't? Then you should take a good look at the current situation."
He subtly pointed to four places and made a gesture, indicating that the other party should quickly observe the directions he was pointing to.
Several figures wearing dark hoodies were scattered around the hall, and they didn't seem particularly special.
But actually, as long as you concentrate, you can feel the difference.
Although everyone seemed to be surrounded by people, there was always a space between them, sometimes as much as five meters, so no one dared to get too close.
Given that there are still not many seats left in the hall, and this unusual situation is occurring, the underlying problem becomes quite clear.
Habitually casting his gaze, the young man glanced at the last one and was about to move away when his gaze suddenly stopped.
!!
He sensed a peculiar attraction that made it impossible for him to look away; he could only continue watching, as if it held some hidden secret…
"That is..."
The shocking words were about to come out when the young man was gently bumped in the side, swallowing them back down.
"Cough cough cough..."
Even though this was just a dream world, the young man's pain did not lessen at all; in fact, he felt the pain intensify!
"Idiot, you're the only one who figured it out!?"
The burly man pressed down on the young man's head, making him look away from that last figure.
Even so, the figure noticed them, slowly turned its head, and looked directly at the two of them.
!!
Without hesitation, the burly man pressed the young man's head down, and they both bowed their heads, not daring to offer any explanation or resistance.
The figure wore the same raven mask as them, except that the eyes were covered by a pure black ribbon...
It covered up the empty, sunken eye sockets.
They only glanced back for three seconds before turning their heads back, but both of them felt completely exhausted.
horrible.
Even knowing it was wrong, the young man couldn't control his impulse and asked the burly man in a hoarse, almost silent voice:
"...Really?"
The big man glared at him, then slowly nodded, somewhat reluctantly.
The legendary strengths vary.
In the courtroom, all the crows are nominally subject to the mobilization orders of a legendary figure.
The Blind One, Lord of the Crows, The Cold-Blooded One...
A high-ranking legend codenamed "The Blind One," a figure who rose from humble beginnings as an ordinary raven to become a legendary figure in the upper echelons of the Inquisition.
"See that? Even this one who doesn't like getting involved in these kinds of things has come. Do you think the other legends wouldn't show up?"
Not all legends like to reveal their identities; many of them have hidden identities.
Perhaps they are hiding in the bustling crowd right now, listening to other people's opinions of them.
"This kind of scene is not a good sight for the swordsman."
The big man was tense, feeling both nervous and excited.
Originally, no more than five legends would have participated in this event, but after that news came out, the number of legends present definitely exceeded ten!
Those are ten legends! Any one of them is a terrifying being capable of destroying a small city!
