The gentle voice, like a lullaby, softly rang in her ears, slowly flowing into her heart, gently easing the tension in Shirin's heart.

Softly, Ning Feng said gently yet earnestly:
"Then let's make up for this regret together in the future, okay?"

Staring blankly at Ning Feng, Xilin's mind went completely blank.
Tick-tock.
Tears slipped from the corners of my eyes and fell to the ground without me noticing.
A sobbing sound escaped from her throat without her realizing it; Shirin had no idea she could make such a shameful sound.

A hoarse reply, unrecognizable as her own voice, rang out, and Shirin felt she didn't know why she had become so vulnerable.

Covering her eyes and trying to hold back her tears, Xilin felt herself being gently lifted up and put her arms around Ning Feng's neck.
