Chapter 196 [Prophecy]

The dagger pierced through, leaving three holes in the gray ghost's body.

Wave.

Then, as if deflated, the already ethereal ghost became even more illusory, and its entire "body" began to dissipate inch by inch in place.

Without resisting or running away, the ghost remained where it was, looking at Andrew with a complicated gaze.

No malicious intent?

Quickly recovering from the sudden fright, Andrew stopped at the entrance to the secret room, staring at the ghost:

"Are you still conscious!? Who are you? Are you... Merlin VI?"

The most likely candidate to exist in this secret chamber is Merlin VI, the one who left the malevolent prophecy.

However, it seems that all the resentment has been left in the prophecy, and there is not a trace of resentment left on the ghost in front of us.

The ghost's dissipation spread to the head, and it finally reacted.

The ghost, with only half an eye left, laughed.

That was a terrifying, chilling smile!

The gray ghost stared at Andrew, its voice echoing intermittently in his ears:

"You...you will be..."

"Next……"

Wave.

Before he could finish speaking, the gray phantom vanished completely, leaving no trace.

With a serious expression, Andrew's demeanor remained largely unchanged despite the other party's final words.

"I will not be you."

Never!

His blood flowed with the nobility and elegance of the aristocracy, and he would not allow himself to fall into such a miserable state as the other person.

"But I have no grudge against him. Did he really only appear at the end to say something to curse me?"

Andrew couldn't understand or comprehend the other party's motives.

Clutching the pages of the prophecy book, Andrew stepped out of the secret chamber and looked out the window at the bustling night.

"His prophecies all seem to contain some special meaning..."

After thinking for a moment, Andrew finally gave up on trying to figure it out himself.

"Forget it... I think it's time to use this."

If you can be lazy, don't torture yourself.

If you can use an external brain, why not use it?

Lamenting his own decadence, Andrew reached into the lining of his exquisite clothes.

He pulled a silver badge from his pocket.

And the design on the badge...

It's a crow without a purpose!

...

...

On the cruise ship, the legends chatted in twos and threes, not only about the competition in "Star Chaser," but also about other things.

It's just a game to pass the time, and with so many legends involved, it's also a great opportunity for interaction.

Apart from Keynes, no one else approached Augustus or disturbed him.

Augustus was pleased with this scene and watched silently.

Finally, his usually calm, blue eyes showed a slight change when Andrew picked up the prophetic poem.

"Prophecy, yet another prophecy."

"...My lord, what exactly is the [Observer Project] looking for?"

A specific person?

Or perhaps, a glimmer of hope?

"Now it seems the most likely scenario is..."

With a slight shift in his gaze, Augustus looked at the young figure who was pulling the necromancer aside and pouring out his heart.

Is that you?

"What role do you play in the prophecy?"

"...A demon?"

---Aside---

This prophetic poem was more difficult to write than I had imagined.

Most of the subplots in this volume are hidden within it.

Also, I've been incredibly busy lately...

Specific reasons:

1. My immediate supervisor, the vice president, fell on his toe while working out at the gym, fracturing his toe and is now recovering at home... He's pushing some of the work that should be done at the office onto me.

2. My advertising sales manager is on annual leave for half a month... and he's pushing his work onto me.

3. The local marketing director is elusive... and he's dumping all sorts of trivial tasks on me.

Double the amount!

This is so hard for me... Help me.
